I have some catching up to do with you I see. You do honor to me, probably more than I deserve. But hey, I'm enjoying the attention. :) Yes, the paradox of language that hates itself and makes art of what it hates. Intriguing isn't it?
Perfect reading, indeed. I just wonder how curious is poem (this thing made of words, probably published, printed and reprinted in (?) many other things called "books") that seems to despise words and - books! What comes to my mind is the image of a poem (an astounding poem, for sure) which despises itself. Need to think about it.
@Poemsapennyeach Thank you, Kristine! I was just thinking about you on my lazy day off. Was just planning on heading over to see what you've been up to in the garden, kitchen or studio, and here you are at my door step! And I see you brought wine-- Soooo thoughtful of you. :-)
@AntiFaithNY Thank you! And I am planning a few originals soon. Mostly I have avoided them only because many of my favorites were being submitted here or there for publication, but I've targeted a few for Youtube. :)
@wbarreguy Thank you so much, Mister Music! What a delightful comment. :) I did, however have one tiny mistake. I wonder if Mr. Cummings, like myself, has ever misread one of his own pieces in public. Eek!

I thought this was *great.* The special effect was awesome and your voice was clearer than ever. Stupendous work, Mr. Poet. <3

Great job! Can I request "since feeling is first" next?

@mnolanporter Thank you so much, MNP! Oh, I love that poem of which you speak, and would be honored to read a request.
since feeling comes first
who pays any attention
to the syntax of things
will never wholly kiss you....
Ah yes, that's good stuff. I'll start thinking about the proper presentation. Will try to do it soon.
