@SomaStory The main program along with a tutorial map consumes ~20mb

A non-video map is about 2-5mb big, video maps 10-20mb. My osu folder with 3191 songs consumes 8,63gb, but you don't have to download this much. The system requirements are also low, you need a 1GHz processor and 512mb RAM.

@SomaStory You mean you would like to make your own beatmap with the without yugi song? Just drag&drop the mp3 in edit mode, drag&drop the video file in the editor, get the right timing and start mapping... (easier said as done)

If your want to do this seriously, please refer to the osu-forum or search for osu mapping on youtube, they are quite a few tutorials about that :)

@HMGiggleFairy Yes, cou can simply drag&drop an mp3 there, put in a background picture, a video or even a storyboard with moving pictures, you then can specify the bpm and then you start placing some objects. This said, it's still difficult to make a good and playable beatmap.

@Tr4n515t0r Try to optimize your mouse settings, play easy songs (1 or 2 stars) and use mouse precision modus in the options. I have played a long time with a mouse, it's not bad, even players with a very high rank play with a mouse. However, I bought a wacom cause it's actually more fun to play it with a tablet, I think. Both, mouse and tablets have their pros and cons and you can be a good osu! player with both, you just have to play it for a while.

For me it's not fun to try and "beat" a beatmap with full combo and therefore playing it over and over, so i played this map once and recorded it.

@sspakar I think it's not that hard...the only problem is that it uses the concept from the Ouendan and Elite Beat Agents games (Nintendo DS) and I think a mouse makes Osu! harder than the DS games because it's harder to manipulate.

@Edwinillan I don't think so, actually, if you're playing this game for about a month, you can handle hard and some insane maps you could never play on DS, cause the circles are too small and the notes are too fast. It's actually easier to play with a mouse or a tablet (+ keyboard for "hitting" the notes) when you get used to it. I'm also not a good player on osu!, I'm more an average guy who just played this game for about a few months, so year... it's not that hard.
