@areyouserious83 I agree mate, I'm a huge fan of this game, think I ended up playing this through about 10 times to unlock all the characters and 1000 point it. Scary amount of time put into this one!! I love the 80s anime too :D

ps. I double checked at gamestation & they are doing the collectors edition of Street Fighter X Tekken by the looks of things.

Nice pickups :) I picked up Alice preowned & thought I'd been ripped off with the lack of manual, didnt realise it never had one, tight bstds lol I didnt get the dc either though so may have to rebuy it.

Dont mention the fotns Treasure box, I've been after that as well for ages,gonna have to take the plunge at some point, like you theres allways something else on the go.

NO please dont calm down lol Stick an extra £1 on the lottery, seriosuly though Feb/Mar are going to be wallet busters

I LOVED Fist of the North Star. It's a shame the game got so much hate from "professional" game reviewers. I bet they didn't even bother learning the depth of the skill trees. Easily my favorite game during 2010 (bro got all achievements on 360 :D).

Nice scores as usual Sir! Remember seeing the PS3 boxset of FOTNS sometime ago, it was immense i thought. Brought back great memories of the original anime back in the 80's. It looks fantastic anyway dude. Can't wait for your DC retrospective when your ready, this'll be cool i'm sure mate. Great stuff! :)

@GamerLev Thanks very much mate :D PA and Ebay are my regulars but you should try Genki Video Games and NCSX as alternatives. My top tip is to be patient, if you've got a price in mind stick to it and if you keep looking and trying to get it (esp. Ebay) you'll be able to pick it up some day. Also try the shmups system 11 trading forum, I've picked up so many great bargains from seller on that site.

@gmintyfresh Thanks for the tips will check them out, problem is I don’t have much patience and tend to get giddy and buy even when the price is a little high :) Really enjoying the channel pickups it keeps me posted on new and old stuff I may have missed as there is that much coming out lately I tend to miss loads, can’t complain though 2012’s looking like another busy year.

Fist of the North Star looks quite possibly the most over the top game ever with all those limbs flying about lol Stranglehold is one of those games I keep seeing both online and in the wild but just not yet picked up - it's funny because i've always just presumed it wasn't a very good game probably based on the fact that I never see it going for much more than $5.

All joking aside, I never really noticed manuals that were B&W or otherwise before, but having watched your vids mate I have begun to appreciate full colour manuals when you are lucky enough to get them with a game these days!

Nice pickups! I have FOTNS:KR, it's a fantastic game, sadly overlooked. I ordered Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 yesterday, oddly enough. I have the first two games. Can't beat a bit of Gundam!

Geoff, the manual for Alice Madness returns is within the game..

You can choose it as an option from the menu, then you might allready know that 'lol'

Alice is a great game, can't believe that Ign gave such an crappy score for it..

The low side of this game is that there are too much focus on platform action..

But as you said, the graphical style is really sick and twisted..

Also the fact that there are different dresses on Alice, depending on where you are in wonderland:) Great pickup mate

@cyanidebreathmintz Ha ha mate you've got to find more enemies to destroy!! :D Instruction manuals have become my new bug bear, if they're starting to do this at the end of this generation I shudder at the thought of what it's going to be like at the start of the next!! Always got a bit of time for einhander, I really wish Square would make another shmup because they did so well with this one :D

I'm a big fan of fist of the north star too. I have the game as well, I featured it not too long ago in one of my pick up vids. Still haven't played it yet besides the demo. I look forward to at some point.

On a side note there is another game coming out this month based on a more obscure anime in the uk for the ps3, it's called Saint Seiya and I think it would be right up your street.

Great 360 pick ups mate, Shadows of the damned is a game that has gone under the radar, i didn't know suda 51 put this game together, i really enjoyed no more heroes and its sequel so i might have to pick this one up at some point, loved stranglehold !!! which reminds me im really looking forward to max payne 3, hopefuliy that will be a great game.

shadows of the damned...a VERY underrated game!  In the matter of fact, all games made by grasshopper manufacturer are so underrated for some reason.

Stranglehold--a shitty shitty third person shooter. Chow yun fat will cry if he knows he's in the game.
