I totaled the car with my MegaBuster while they were still in it and they came back, it's ok though because there heavy machine gun is good for my weapons collection.

Bachman's Bookporium in the paradise plaza has 2 books you need.

Engineering and Entertainment

The last book is in the Sir Book-A-Lot wonderland plaza,it is called the criminal biography.

To clear up any confusion with the complete and utter fucking twatting idiots out there. With all 3 books for the Small Chainsaw, that's 3x3x3=27. So a normal Small C' would last 20 hits. But times 27 it will last 540!

On the subject of how best to tackle your first night at the mall...

I find it far, far simpler to simply take Greg, Yuu, and Shinji back to the security room before going anywhere near the north plaza. By the time I snatch David and return with him, I'm usually sitting anywhere between 1:00 and 2:00, leaving me plenty of time to kill the convicts and Cletus before I've even hit 4:00.

Yeah, I agree. Dragging David around is far easier without having to stop and set waypoints for the others. If you have the small chainsaws, you can kill Cletus more than fast enough to keep David safe.

In the north plaza you have to go down a long hallway but there is a sign that says, "This way to the hunting shack!" If you still can't find it, check your map in only the north plaza, you should find it.

An argument could be made for either. Rescuing survivors is worth major PP and will result in Frank leveling up faster, but many of the survivors are a little tricky to rescue, especially at low levels. In the end, it's your call.
