Oh God....Hollywood remaking a classic, and people are shocked. Get over it. I'd go for Joseph-Gordon Levitt to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I love the original, and a remake would probably be nowhere as good, but for the sake of it I'd cast him because he has that humor, the look and probably the kind of freakiness to him.
