Beautiful song hadn't heard of these guys till I saw them on LA Ink and I wanted to check out theyr number one song, and OMG it's so boobalishous! And the rest of you who are talking about rap and country music being sh*t, you obviously haven't heard enough of it. Every song has a meaning, sometimes you have to say things you shouldn't to let it out and say how you feel, even if the meaning of the song is 'getting down on Friday' (Rebecca Black) its still a meaning and it shouldn't be judged. E
@MrSoDiesel I agree that people shouldnt stereotype country music, but in trying to defend country music, youve done the exact same thing to rap music. no genre of ANY music is 'shit'. its all just different artists trying to express feelings/thoughts/MOMENTS through music. some of its just for fun, some of its a beat to dance to, and some is motivations. in both rap and country. i really wanted agree with your comment, but the last bit is just so hypocritical...
@franco239213 there was this time i was driving and i saw a homeless man and i was in the wrong lane to give him change so i went onto a road to turn around so i could give him all the change cause i didnt have cash in my truck i mean it wasnt much maybe a dollar maybe but i walked away after giving it to him and im a big guy on saving change and i couldnt be mad that i had none in my truck i was only happy cause i gave it to a homeless man that needed it more than me
wow i really like this song but after reading comments i realized he was gonna jump cant believe i missed that first time i saw it now i love the song =D
i am related to this song ive almost jumped off of a bridge a homeless man i know sprinted toward me before i jumped pulled me down, talk me out of i am now really good friends with him the next week karma must have found him case he got eough money for a house of his own... i love most country songs relate to your life.
I play this song in my acoustic set and have seen it stop time in places...it just never fails to bring a tear to someone.....I hope it ain't cuz I'm doin it badly lol....but I consider this song a gift to the people who wrote is as well as the people who are touched by it as i was.....I've been both people in this song...and because of this song I am not ashamed of that anymore....
@whatzthedeal17 it's such a great song, it's weird that we couldn't remember the name of it..and I just got this song...I didn't realize that the guy who gave the other guy money was going to kill himself....
@BlueOctober76 yep. i guess it could be a Little tough to tell from the video. but if you listen to the lyrics and put it in with the video(or just listen to the song alone) then you can put it together. great song!
This song touches my heart every time I listen to it. It's so true though. I've had my moments where I've wanted to just end things. But, I've managed to see through all the pain and hurt. Homeless people make me so sad. I break down and cry when I see them, because I can't even begin to imagine the pains, the horrors, or anything that they go through just to stay alive. It really tears me apart :(
im tired of the stereotypical bullshit that exist's in this world. people say country music is shit..all they talk about is fucking cousions and cows and drinkin beer and shootin shit....i have never heard a country song say anything of the sort, have you? listen to this song, it's beautiful. something that everybody struggles with.
what the fuck is rap? "i go hard n da hard hard n da paint nigga" (what the fuck does that even mean? it's fuckin shit music.
@lightning267100 it's like you don't even realize you are behaving exactly the same way as these people you say you hate. You have this stereotype of rap in your head and you generalize it to all rap artists when it is clear you have no idea what you're talking about. If you did, you would realize how ignorant you sound. Since you don't believe me search the song broken wings by sage francis. It's a beautiful song, and there's not a single swear word. Do your research next time.
Why is everyone hating on all the other genres of music? Everybody has their own preferences and you don't have to be putting their type of music down. I listen to everything and on every single video, there is always a small mob putting down other genres. You don't have to make a comment on how much you hate the other types of music or how much it "sucks". Just keep your hating comments to yourself and just let people be people. Just enjoy your music and they'll enjoy theirs. Please re-post.
As an average man, i love this song especially the part were he says "coming home from the war". As a veteran we just blend into life, but arriving at that Atlanta airport from Afghanistan is something that I will never forget. I
"A 15 year old girl holds hands with her 1 year old son. People call her a "slut", no one knows she was raped at age 14. i feel that suicide should never be an option, the butterfly effect is the truth no matter if you believe it or not, you will affect other people no matter what.. whether your helping someone broke down on the road, covering your fellow soldiers in battle, or even raising a family... everyone will have their moments and be meaningful on this earth!

People can see someone in passing and belittle them due to something about their appearence or attitude or whatnot, but no one ever knows what goes on in their lives.
this song makes me cry makes me cry EVERYTIME no matter how used to it i am it still makes me burst out crying ='( ......but no matter what i will ALWAYS love this song and it will always stay in my heart it makes you think and those 109 people that disliked it must have pretty good lives and not understand their probably rich snobby people and dont deserve to have moments!!!!!

Victoria, I miss you so much. I just wish, I wish that there had been someone to show you your moments before you took your life away. Thumbs up if you are willing to be that old man who will take the time to save a life, because you are the people that are going to save this world.
This song made me cry the first time I heard it. It hurts me when I see homeless people, because I know that could be anyone. Not many people in this world would give that man some change, but I would.
This song is so me. Struggling with life and sometimes even thinking the easiest thing is to jump. But I know God is there, and I try to keep my faith. Thank you for letting me blog this. I am living, breathing and trying to love life to my fullest with my kids
@iceblizzard1000 I know exactly how you feel. All the pain and everything we go through in our lives can really get you down. I've had my moments of weakness and my moments of strength and while I don't completely believe in God, unconsciously I thank him everyday for having my boys. I maybe young, but I wouldn't trade my boys for the world. And in those moments where it seems easiest to quit, they give me the strength and the drive to push through even the hardest of times.
@smcgary45 This song won an award actually! (2007 "Song of the year" at the ACM's) It's gotten alot of recognition & credit! Amazing song, very meaningful & very powerful! Awesome, awesome song! Definitely Emerson's best!!
They Might Not Need Me But They Might, I'll Let My Head Be Just In SIght, For a Smile As Small As Mine Might Be Precisely Thier Nessecity... You never know how just smiling at someon can change thier whole day....
I met Emerson Drive over the summer and it was awesome. :) I got all their autographs and my picture taken with the lead singer. They're a really great band! Love their music.
I wonder if this song is actually based on a true story, maybe before the guy who wrote it became famous this might've actually happened to him, and he decided to write a song about it.
this song kept me from ending my life i've had lots of moments and all i can hope they will be more .................and i will know i never quit trying

i dont cry much, but if i do cry it's usally because it's brings back the memories of when i was in the lowest part of my life and living on the streets, to this day i feel the pain, but whenever i need to vent my feelings i listin to this song a few times. it cheers me up every time no matter how mny times i listen.
everyone in life, i dont care who you are, we all make mistakes and we get lost and then we find someone or something that reminds us that our life is worth living and that no matter what we do we are always loved by our parents, nothing can stop us from our hopes and dreams. we have moments that we feel lost then moments that we are loved to every moment in between and this song brings it out so much that it changed my life and my out look of it
First time I heard this song I balled my eyes out. That was two days ago. Listening to it now, I'm balling my eyes out. I've been having a rough time but this song gives me the courage to make it through what i'm dealing with. That way I can make my own moments and share them with others.
this song is really good, love it...I work with homeless people all day and i know they all have a story, a moment in life were they had a family, a life and work. This song makes me remember that because even if some of them are angry and bad people now, they used to be something before...they are still people
@buckielvsmusic didnt mean they were bad people, just couldnt find a better english word...most of em had a family, some good work and life and then something happened....we had one guy that used to be in the frensh foreign legion and was captured in some country, sent to work in the mines but managed to escape and ended up in Sweden. He was totaly destroyed. What I do is to help them as much as possible.
And this what America is supposed to be about. We have to hold on to the little things like this if we don't want to fall apart. I cry EVERY time I listen to this because it's a sad song and there just aren't enough people that feel this way anymore.
omg i found it i have been looking for this song for years and its still one of my.... no it is my favorite i didn't know the name but thank god for google
This song reminds me of all the times my mother told me not to judge people. We don't know were they have come from or what they have been through. We also don't know were they are going in life! Everyone's had thier moments good and bad!
Beautiful song hadn't heard of these guys till I saw them on LA Ink and I wanted to check out theyr number one song, and OMG it's so boobalishous! I wonder if this song is actually based on a true story, maybe before the guy who wrote it became famous this might've actually happened to him, and he decided to write a song about it.

A 15 year old girl holds hands with her 1 year old son. People call her a slut, no one knows she was raped at 13. People call another Guy fat. No one knows he has a serious disease causing him to be overweight . People call an old man ugly. No one knew he had a serious injury to his face while fighting for our country in the war.People call a women bald but they don't know she has cancer Re-post this if you are against bullying and stereotyping. I bet 95% of you won't do

everyone in life, i dont care who you are, we all make mistakes and we get lost and then we find someone or something that reminds us that our life is worth living and that no matter what we do we are always loved by our parents, nothing can stop us from our hopes and dreams. we have moments that we feel lost then moments that we are loved to every moment in between and this song brings it out so much that it changed my life and my out look of it

this song is really good, love it...I work with homeless people all day and i know they all have a story, a moment in life were they had a family, a life and work. This song makes me remember that because even if some of them are angry and bad people now, they used to be something before...they are still people
Naffurie 6 months ago
@Naffurie THEY R NOT BAD PEOPLE "THEY" JUST NEED GUIDANCE
buckielvsmusic 6 months ago
@buckielvsmusic didnt mean they were bad people, just couldnt find a better english word...most of em had a family, some good work and life and then something happened....we had one guy that used to be in the frensh foreign legion and was captured in some country, sent to work in the mines but managed to escape and ended up in Sweden. He was totaly destroyed. What I do is to help them as much as possible.
Naffurie 6 months ago
And this what America is supposed to be about. We have to hold on to the little things like this if we don't want to fall apart. I cry EVERY time I listen to this because it's a sad song and there just aren't enough people that feel this way anymore.
