@Plushcup i use unsalted butter and icing sugar but i think my butter cream isnt that tasty could be cuz i im not whisking it for long enough, where can i purchase the food colours from cuz the 1s i get from my local supermarket lose colour after being opened.
Im currently on holidays for the next month so i am going to try and do more tuts for you :) Any suggestions? Maybe basic piping with a 1M or 2D tip?, Rose piping on cupcakes or covering a cake with the rose piping? Frill icing on a giant cuppy or how to make a chocolate mould for the base of a giant cuppy, basic tube swirl for cupcakes? Let me know what you would like to see. Also you can check out my other work on my facebook. Plush n Lush Cupcakes. Thanks everyone :)
@Plushcup Hey there! i love watching your video! but how do you get the buttercream to look like yours? ive tried to making them but they always seemed to not be as fluffy and creamy looking like in your video.
@Plushcup I would actually like to see videos on all the suggestions you've made, lol! But mainly how to cover a cake with rose piping, I have attempted this and did not turn very good because didn't arrange them very well and some turned out bigger than others if that makes sense.
Icing a giant cupcake would also be interested to see how it's done.
The more pressure you put on the piping bag the frillier the buttercream. Also the buttercream shouldn't be to thick but you need it to sit up Nicely when piping so it needs to be light and fluffy. The longer you beat it the fluffier it will get. Beat on high for at least 8 min. The kitchen aid makes beautiful buttercream. I highly recommend it if your in the market for a new mixer.
Does pressure or consistency of the buttercream matter as far as getting it to come out that way? I've tried it a couple times and it didn't exactly come out like yours did...
Thanks everyone :) That was my turkish delight cupcakes. ( chocolate cupcakes with a rosewater buttercream) The buttercream is 500g of butter to 800g of icing sugar. Thats it! But you need to beat it approx 8 - 10 minutes. Then add whatever flavouring and colours you like. This one was rosewater and the colour is americolour burgundy with a touch of americolour electric pink. I will try and upload more piping tutorials soon :)
@Plushcup what size nozzle did you use for this cupcake?
