She had some songs over here and You Keep Me Hanging On was a number one hit when I was 8 (I'm 32 now) but she still was never that big here like she was in Europe and other continents. It still rates as 1 of my best albums & in fact bought it on vinyl & tape so i cud play on my walkman on the go & at home. I loved chequered love & water on glass tracks also. saw her in the 90s at wollongong-australia when If I cant have love was big. her brother is a great guitarist as well.

Nostalgia huh? I think things haven't changed that much. We seem to forget that the charts back then usually had tons of crap and only remember a couple of Real Good Songs. Been like that since the charts were launched. I mean even in the fifties, the golden age of rock'n'roll etc., for every rock'n'roll hit there were lots of crooners that make you cringe.

There's plenty of great new music around, but you have to go out and find it.
