Alpha 2 was a much easier game. Capcom stripped away the waffle, so that in Alpha 3 you actually require skill. It's a technical game, but by far the best in the Alpha series.
not as much skill is required in a3 and all the infinite combo's just ruined series for me. the makers of a3 couldnt decide wether they wanted to make a VS title or not and nothing from a3 was improved on.
@Blitzbok alpha 2 was good for its time, 3 was better in every way. block much i'll break your guard! not to mention the isms and multitude of characters. 2 is much to simple to play now days where-as 3 still stands the test of time. also the supers in 2 were way to easy to connect...too much suction on a few supers.
Why were you throwing Hadoukens? I'm just asking because they didn't hit even once. Does this have something to do with "Being in an Anti-neutral state" ?
