  • BringElyTheHorizon1 you are an idiot the only reason the horse acted the way it did is the fact that the horse was NOT properly trained and this guy has no idea what he is doing! You cant even begin to imagine the pain that he was causing for that horse! listen to what your horse is telling you people! If you are getting a bad response then you are doing it wrong!!!

  • wow. he was seriously the most amazingly gorgeous and talented horse I've ever seen!

  • glad hes not flippin gout like in the other video. lol. he was awesoem!

  • was it put down !?

  • helmet wouldnt go astray safety first

  • how did he pass away?? jw..

  • Yeaah I fuck me. Can you see it? :D

  • the bad comments are just damn right rude, pretty much every competition horse starts off like this, and it's people like jazz who bring them on and get critzised for it?! people have different ways of doing it and obiously this way works for Cicero! you lot just dont understand do you? all the people who wrote the bad comments have OBVIOULSY never ever rode a horse like this before. well done jazz,

    rip Cicero.:( <3

  • Whats with the rude coments? You guys obviously never ridden a hose that was this green. You all probably ride a pushbutton champion horse. This is EXACTLY what you have to do with crazy horses like cicero.

    R.I.P. Cicero!

  • Wenn mans nicht kann, sollte man es lassen...

  • @NieOhneDich

This is when Jazz first got him and its her trainer riding him because clearly he was being naughty. This riding obviously worked because you should see how he turned out to be with both Jazz and her trainer working on him... you would never of been able to do that.

And that was an extremely disrespectful comment anyway seeing as the horse has passed away.

  • @NieOhneDich fuck you, u know nothing!

  • This horse- Cicero is one of the most beautiful horses I have EVER seen, a true champion, before making nasty comment calling this animal abuse I think you should all watch Jazz's other video 'RIP CICERO JUMPING AT HOME' to show what a remarkable horse ciceo became, training a competition horse isn't an easy task and Jazz & her instructor deserve a lot of credit! this is just one another one of those days in the life of being a top showjumper! REST IN PEACE CICERO <3

  • hi might be good but should still have a hat on even the best people come off an if your on a higly strung horse you should at least protect yourself, u did a good job controlling it there hard work when they try it on lol

  • @SexySwee84 it's his choice whether he wears a hat or not :/ i dont see why people make so much fuss when people dont wear hats!

  • @livelaughride94

like you can ride horses better -_-'

  • @livelaughride94 he obviously does, seeing as he stopped him?^o)

  • @livelaughride94 hhahahahah fuck you, u dont know nothing either lol

  • r.i.p i k now sadley you cant ride him or her again but you really should wear a hat you know

    r.i.p x

  • the poor horse died yet people are STILL criticising!!!

    get a life!

  • we have a horse like him at my stables called flake, hes beautiful like yours but he is sooo playfull and full of energy. :D

  • did you ever end up fixing his issue? hes such a good looking horse

  • I have no life and i whant to prove everyone what a great and oh superior rider i am by saying "oh animal abuse!" and criticizing the rider ........ jesuz peopleee get a life and stop being such a bunch of little snobs.

nice horse he seems like a handfull oh and RIP D:

btw i give thumbs down to all little know it alls who bother to give unwanted advice >:D

    nice vid x3

  • Just watched your other video there and he was a fabulous jumper and you were great on him. sorry to hear he's passed. Major talent

  • @itsallham08 no he is flexing... look at the contact with the outside rein

  • jesus!

  • what happend to him sorry :( he looks really nice

  • why all the bad comments? the trainer is training the horse properly! it was clearly misbehaving and being disrespectfull to the rider!! i presume none of you's have had a proper instructer on a compitition horse that isnt a pushbutton? what you seen in tat vid is how all your champions get taught at times, when you dont listen in class do you not get a bit of punishent and amde to work extra?

    R.I.P Cicero </3

  • mmm, no disrespect to the rider, but he held on to his mouth, i mean i cant say i never knew the horse but i was alway taught to give the horse its head the reel him back in .. so its just personal pref, but i mean it looks like the horse improved heaps from the last vid i saw

  • poor horse how would you react to getting your back teeth pulled out!!!

  • Nice, nice horse and looks like an very experienced rider. But, he was infront of the movement, folded too early and too much. The horse then jumped a bit bigger then expected and he did become unseated on landing. We all get it wrong from time to time but this horse couldn't tolerate at this stage. This looks like a talened horse and I hope your trainer recommended that the horse needed to take a few steps back whatever the circumstances.

  • sorry but omg. like seriously.

I dont normally get annoyed with people critting but really ? Why say anything, im sure he knows his errors and you spraffing on this isnt achieving anything. Had you seen the later videos, because I think that prooves they did the right thing ;)

  • gotta love ciero

    xxx

  • Even if a hose is started training there are nothing wrong in taking a step back.Every one can start to fast, but when they realises thath it was to soon then go back. And a trainer should be able to say that.He should be a good example, many of those who ride for trainer do so to learn, and if a person chooses to be a trainer he has a responsibility to take care of both horses and riders that he trains.

  • And I cant see why this particular video is respecktfull to the horse?I think it's the other way around.Maybe i am rude, but this kind of riding(the trainer, not jazz) s disgusting!

  • OR he could have waited until the horse actualy were ready, psycologicly:) A horse can be trained with hars treatment, that doesn't mean it is the best for the horse. Other methods MIGHT take longer(not always), but if the horse aint worth our time we sure ain't worth our horses!

  • Just put him in a crowd instead of your whole mouth broke his draws :S

  • Sorry, SuperVilja, but have you nothing better to do than leave 15 comments on this video bashing Kevin? He's a good trainer, there are many incredible horses to show for that.

You are not superior to anyone. Please, quit wasting your time trying to fight on youtube and spend it finding a real hobby.

  • R.i.p 1 year today <3

Hope heaven is taking good care of you <3

  • What's this guy doing? No wonder the horse is a bitt 'nutty'. When he is riding around look how hard he is holding the horse. The horse is running around whit his nose in his chest, and the rider is tense. Mayby not scared, but he is tense and trying to force the horse to be calm. That just not how things work. All he is saying to the horse is that this is something to NOT be relaxed around!

  • Leave jazz alone! she loved this horse and now hes gone. HAVE SOME RESPECT.

  • Then maybe she should start respecting the horse her self? Not publish a video of the horse being ridden badly and call the horse nutty? It's bad respect to publish this video at all. Every one can do mistakes, but this i would have forgotten, nott shared with the world. That is not respect.

  • No your wrong all these cicero videos were all up anyway, but when he died, she put 'rip' infront of the title.

You are more than pathetic commenting and critising about this lovely horsse. you must be jeleuos, or simply sick minded.

  • Still disrespect of the horse. The other videos are great, why ruin that picture? And i'm not critising this horse, or the owner, but the guy on top:) And that people think this is funny or beutifull, what is wrong? You dont need a genius to see that the horse is distressed on this video, why post that? And why is that funny? Im sure this was a beautifull, lovely horse, butt why remember this moment? Look at the horse, and look at the guy on top. It's a horse in distresse.

  • hors ein distresss? He was only 4-5 here!

Just stop this, it was a year y.d that C was put to sleep, i think jazz has enough on her mind without you saying shit!

it was her horse so she can post what she wants, its nothing to do with you at all.

  • So if he was 4-5? Whats that got to to with how the rider rides? It's got nothing to do with me, but if someone publishes a video like this they should expect negative coments. Only title suitable for this video is: How not to ride a horse. It's a sad situasion, but i react to se horses like this. And since hi's dead, pay the horse some respect!

  • if the riding was that bad, do you think C would have got so good, he only got spooked and ran off..

    Grow up, C loved jazz.

  • Thats the thing with horses, you can make them do alot of thing. People hitting, kicking and so on, but they can still come a long way with the horse(i'm not saying she is, just an example). And he is in distress before he runs off. I'm not saying anything about the owner. She is great on these other videos, and so is the horse. Im talking about her trainer or whoever this guy is.

  • lol the people in the backround just laugh! xD

  • he was simply stunning. x

  • you and him touched so many hearts.. i dont even know cicero yet i miss him.. :( (sorry if that sounds disturbing) .. lol :D

  • Actually the instructor gave him his head before they jumped the jump, and the only time he pulled was when cicero went too forward. You should pay more attention everyone before you critisize.

  • Hahah, I used to ride a horse just like that!

I had to make him walk the jumps,

    pretty scary sometimes :/

  • right, who the fuck do you think you are? you are the most inconsiderate cunt i have ever seen.. well basically. how would you feel if someone like VERY close to you died? i'd just loveee to see you ridee cockheadd. MUCH LOVE xx

  • this was right at the very begining with C,

C has sadly died, have some consideration.

    Watch her recent videos maybe?

    Rest In Peace C

  • u rode him sooo much better!! xx rip

  • Cicero was sure spunky!

  • nice to no that everyone is so clued up about the horse bein sawed in the mouth and over bent. you fail to notice guys it doesnt even look sound to begin with!!! coincidence me thinks???

  • or im sorry he was gawge xxxxx RIP Cicero :'[

  • amazing rider

  • hes gorgeous!

    im so sorry :(

    when did he die?

  • jbchase13 --

This lovely horse was put to sleep following last November at the age of five and a half following a broken leg sustained in the pasture. Is that the saddest thing in the world or what? ='(

  • that is so sad :(

    RIP :'(

  • your instructor has guts..

are you using the same instructor for your work with Casper and Tevita?

  • hahaha what a nutter lol , rip? what happend to him?

  • He broke his leg in a field :(

  • youngsters that are playing up often need to be worked really hardly over their back, in this case his head was overbent but because the rider had plenty of impulsion the horse could could with that if you get me?

  • awsome rider

  • dude he has the prettiest haed set

  • Why is he say "good girl" I thought Cicero was a boy?

  • hes game :) on with no helmet,

    sorry he died :(

  • sorry about ur loss thats horrible. R.I.P. Cicero!!!!!!

  • i've only watched a couple videos of the horse but from what i have seen the owner of this horse is a very good rider she got off the horse at the start of the video (because he was acting like this??) the trainer is disciplining the horse for misbehaving. ppl who post mean comments on how the horse should be trained to use legs, watch the other videos! it is! this was a horse simply misbehaving if you don't make the punishment harsh enough for them to remember then theyll never learn whats bad

  • I totally agree

  • How about horsemanship and nice methods? It's no need to be hard on the horse when there are nicer methods that works the same, maybe even better! Horses are our friends, they carry oss around, and they deserve to be treated with love and respect. This was a young horse, and thats even worse. Other than that I agree. Nice horse and nice rider on these other videos. Sad situasjon:(

  • OMG HE DIED!!!?????????

  • yes, he broke his leg in the field =[

  • And he still managed to change leg!!

  • christ half of you dont know what the hell your talking about. most of you need to shut upp!!

    sorry for your loss

    love emz x

  • right before the jump hive it a little squeex=zw ==e with ur heels

  • seriously none of you lot know what ur talking about , kevin is an amazing rider and look what he made jazz and cicero into ? you cant critise him AT ALL.

  • Why is that? You can make a horse do alot of things with force and harsh treatment. I'm not saying he usually do, but in this video he does. I, and many other have ridden for a trainer like this in my area, he is not at all nice to the horses, butt still he is starting 1.30- 1.40 at shows with good results. This is still not a good trainer. A good trainer takes his time, use gentle methods and wait to the horse is ready, both psykologically and physiologically.

  • you have really hard hands :/ did he really die??? ive watched these videos in the past, thats really sad

  • tbh, i think that the instructor would know what he is doing and no one is in a position to comment on him. jazz did a great job with cicero, don't listen to them. they're just jealous of what you had with him ;) RIP. x

  • You have to admit you secretly feel good when your horse plays up for other people but not for you :)

  • Ugh it looked like the horse just took the opportunity where the guy wasn't hanging on his face to try and get himself some freedom. I can understand if he was just trying to keep the horse from running away but you can be MUCH softer when doing that, it's called riding leg to hand...

  • This rider really needs to soften their hands that poor horse was like "ow!"

  • Wow poor horse! loosen ur hands and give it a hair bit more rein to him, and more seed

  • so, you give them rein when they are galloping of... thats clever :L

  • Id just like to say.. that comment was for some one down there.. who was annoying me :P.. not for jazz :)

  • a bit more enegry gon into the 1st jump wouldnt kill you would it????and keep him facing the jump hes looking to the side alot

  • your carrying a very tight rein and your hands are on his withers left your hands and let him go a bit he wont act up as much then

  • God, that rider has incredibly hard hands when he rides.... I wouldn't want to be ridden by him if I were a horse...

  • he was going quite lovely up until then :D

  • ouch!! did the horse smack his head!? that hurtsss!!

  • Comment removed

  • is he a stud? the same crazy one that was freaking out..lol.. he's beautiful

  • 'AboutThyme2' i think you should re-watch her videos because to be honest, i think shes a fucking amazing rider and i buzz to be like her, look at what has compered to you, would you get a horse like that from been lazy. i have to do that with my pony. it don't mena you lean forward to much yeah tard, you have to jump different ways on different horses. maybe you don't have to!

  • I wasn't on about jazz if thats what u r saying?:S

  • Wow Jazz...just came across this vid! Cicero was so beautiful and would have shone anywhere!

    Remembering you always Cicero.xxx

  • R.I.P. C you always were the best!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • everyone stop being soo bitch nd horrible. thts the truble with this site >:(. and well said jazz, have sum consideration. rip cicero xxx

  • i dont need your comments watch the recentest video i had of him i cant do anything now as he is dead have some fucking consideration :(

  • thats not funny.

    thats abuse.

  • its not abuse, jazz and her horse had a great bond, and she would never have let anyone hurt Cicero. RIP cicero, you will be remembered. ♥♥♥

  • She just did!!!

  • nuh uh!

That is very disrespectful and if anything your worse you are very lazy riders and lean forward too much!

    :)

  • YEAH so lazy

that we actually have the core strength to ride like that :)

  • Jazz isn't american!lol

    She is ENGLISH!

  • I don't understand why you put that because you are not riding?!?

it is jazz's instructor who is english i am sure!

  • I think you lot are getting confused cos I am saying American and Canadian riders are blah blah blah!

    Not JAZZ!

  • Not really

  • You rode him much better, he was janking in at his mouth, not the way to go, you need to b kind to their mouths, and no wonder c freaked afterwards he landed on him lik a sack on potatoes.

    Rip c xx

  • Agree!!

  • Please don't take this the wrong way, but whoever the rider is, they're yanking and pulling back on the reins way too much and they need to do alot more flatwork and slowing down before having the horse jump. The horse needs to be calm and collected to properly take a jump. That horse needs to be calm before being jumped.

  • i completely agree, polework is the way to go with that horse! a lot of trotting and cantering poles will do it the world of good, my pony can get very hyper when jumping so i ALWAYS start with some trotting poles first!

  • yes the thing is; is your pony 4??

That horse^^ was 4 there and was just being a 4yo! Every youngster I have brought on does these things now and then you just need to crack at thebeginning which is what this rider is doing and if have seen jazz recently that horse was amazing!

    RIP Cxxxx

  • lol no, my pony is 9, but he only starting jumping 8 months ago, so do i get included into your little club? it doesn't matter what AGE the horse is, i've known plenty of horses well into their teens that still act like youngsters. it's the ability and experience that counts, not the age.

  • Well in this horse's case its his age thats the 'problem' and I know that horses ANY age can be like that!:)

And as you said: 'it's the ability and experience that counts' well, exactly he doesn't have any experience and all the ability he is just being naughty!

  • If you are going to blame the age i say the horse aren't ready! And since the age is in concideration, why is it okay to treat a young horse like this?

  • treat him like what?!

  • Like harsh, overbent, locked hands u name it. Just watch the video. Again the trainer, not jazz.

  • that man is a tarined teacher .. you should see what cicero became, a champion horse, jazz was the luckiest girl to have him she really was .. you taught him well sweetheart, sorry it had to ned like that tho :( .. all great things come to an end sometime but this time was too early .. love you jazz, R.I.P Cicero ♥

  • ............................................

  • if u know what ur doing this a v good techneque and ovisly jazz knew what she was doing as this horse is amazing now and if it taught him to stop all the time he wouldnt be where he is now sooo if u dont know about the horse plese keep bad comments to urself as tbh i think jazz will just laff at them coz she os better thn tht to let them get her down

keep up thee good work jaz :-)

  • hatling a horse infront of a fence teaches them to expect to slow down infront of a fence so they can get their back end under them from rushing its works really well and once you've got the line you ride from the bottom of the fence and let the horse mess it up if it does i think the instructor rode him very well and to be able to sit there like nothing is happening is very good :) but i do think C prefers Jazz's style of riding :) hes fab now though but as a youngster he has those days :)

  • i find iut highly amusing people have the cheeck to critise this video when they dont even look at my recent videos to what this horse has become ! haha !

  • its exactly what i get on my videos when we were breaking george like... hes goin way to fast.. its like id like to see you on him for 1 minuite. now that would be a you've been framed video :P

  • and maybe he would act up if you didnt tug at his mouth right away after the jump.. or before it for that matter.

  • Maybe if it was her

  • wow. lets stop the horse right in front of the jump so he learns how to refuse. good job,

  • agree with horseluver33

who's the moron riding that horse?

should learn to relax first, might go better

  • ok well i would take off too if someone locked their hands on my mouth! the whole time even when ur trying to get him round in the begging it is done only wiht hand and he had every rite to bolt wiht u! u didnt release at all over the jump and that is partly the reason that he tried so hard to get away from it! gentle hands will result in a gentle horse...

  • agree with horseluver33

who's the moron riding that horse?

should learn to relax first, might go better

  • errrm its a tequnique used by loads of ppl schooling there horses to Jump...only experianced riders are able to manage this...and yea liek jazz said if you have looked at her recent videos and videos from the start you wuid realise how amazing this horse is and tht what they are doing here has worked!!

  • first off really ur just gonna wind the horse up by stopping it right by the jump ur also gonna just teach it 2 refuse all the time after a while, personly i think the rider deserved that tbh, and pulling back on the mouth when fallin only makes the horse shake its head so its more likley for u 2 fall off !

  • Actually, making my mare, when I first got her, stop in front of fence resulted in her not running through my hands. She never refused from it... Although, I don't understand exactly why they were doing that with this horse?

  • that is exactly what my horse does when i jump her! she has never jumped before in her life and she is 8 years old. Do you have any ideas of what i should do? I make sure the jumps are small crossrails with a ground rail and i give her a nice big release!

  • you should try her over grids, like bounces and stuff, when she gets more accustomed to jumping and then she won't run off... but you could do it w/poles to start :D hope I helped I just noticed that you posted this coment a while ago... whoops XD

  • Uh yeah....he died.........................

  • Oh, I know that's terrible... but I was just trying to give advice to dahlly12. I thought since no one else answered, I might as well. It really is terrible what happened to Cicero :'-(

  • Ah ok...sorry thought you were commenting to Jazz. You bless him,he touched many hearts.x

  • He and she both touched many hearts

  • Comment removed

  • he died!! have some respect please!!

  • Comment removed

  • KeriDusty- if you read my coments above... you can see that I know that and I was giving advice to dahlly12. And i respect Cicero and Jazz VERY much. They were both amazingly talented and touched many hearts.

  • I think you need to release forward, not down, and look up. Not trying to be mean or start anything, just trying to help.

  • i think you need to wear a helmet...

  • my pals horse does dis just jump him then head him for the fence and run him into the fence

  • that was pretty much obvious that, that was going to happen.. no effence to the rider im not trying to start something.. u can school ur horse how u like.. but he looked over bent but that was just me??.. and halting him infront of the jump and expecting him not to wanna go over wen he looks a lil full of energy .. brilliant .. but well sat.. :)

  • i disagree, he was probably doing that because the horse rushes. because i do that tecneke and it works well.

  • No I agree with Brandy. If the horse was young he should not have forced it to be so on the bit when jumping... the horse needs to be able to flow and move his head. Also, not releasing and thwumping on the horse's back isn't going helping the horse enjoy jumping... next time he's going towards the jump with his head all tucked like that he's going to remember how it felt.

  • @Equuestriaan I think that's the point Equuestriaan, so he WON'T bolt, though I do think the trainer was a tad too tight and if he is having problems going over those fences he should be worked going over lower fences. In Dressage, not that this may apply I don't know much about jumping, I just know how it should look :D, but in Dressage we go back to basics when all else fails, so maybe going over smaller jumps would have helped? If not, well he's good now, right? ^^
