this is "contortionism". yoga is about unity of the organism and essentially union with the greater self.  also.. this does nothing to facilitate 'use' of the body. in fact for the most part is overstretching people and creating habitual holding patterns in the body. preventing the body/mind/emotional centers from opening up and from the invididual actually tapping into their instrinsic coordination.

I have heard that when Kundalini is awakened it can cause severe illnesses in some cases. See:Pinchbeck, 2012. I have done a fair amount of Yoga. Although, is there a chance of this? Does Yoga channel it properly?
