To keep myself from hating the game, I always think that Dante is Kratos' banished little brother, which explains the similar gameplay. XD jk

But even though the game looks extremely like God of War, I like this story more: about some dude fighting to fetch his lost girlfriend back from Hell, compared to the other Badass Goatee trying to kill everyone in the mythology book.

When he puts his head down, you can just use your cross attack on him two times and he'll show his belly also, no need to use your Scythe on him and risk getting hurt. This works on all difficulties up to Hellish mode.

The game is indeed almost identical to God of War. ALMOST. That's why I have bought it and enjoyed every minute of it so far (at Greed atm). From what I have experienced it combines excellent GoW combat mechanics with a skill system. And I've got to say that it works really well. My point is, that the similarity to God of War is a good thing, not a bad one

Honestly, I am a huge fan of hellish themes and such. So I really got into it. But the game brings nothing new. Just a copy of all successful elements from other games.
