  • The piss-poor sound quality seems quite appropriate under the circumstances. Recordings made at ND and especially at Liverpool Cathedral in the later 1920s are vastly superior. The present recording, although a fascinating historical document, doesn't give the crooked cross faction much to boast about. I wish I could click on both Like and Dislike for this one!

  • Quelle etrange atmosphère! On s'attend à voir la famille Adams au premier rang de l'assistance!

  • pauvre Jean-Sébastien

  • Yes, while the music is good, we French we don't like people to recall to us that we were invaded... We are supposed to have won this war!

  • I don't think the problem was that France was invaded: the problem was that a substantial part of the French political elite collaborated. That was the problem.

  • Il faut bien vivre pauvre France.

  • Scary. @Angultimmarik, it's the end of the Prelude of the Prelude and Fugue in D Major.

  • Which prelude is it? It's hard to understand...

  • Thanks, you must be right, the last note in the pedal is a D... it could have recognised it myself ^^

  • On dirait qu'il commande une troupe de soldats en marche : eins! - zwei! - drei! - eins! - zwei! - drei! - eins! - ...

  • Disturbing!

    1:22 especially!

Vierne would have turned in his grave if he knew about this.

  • :-) Yes, i thought it's an interesting video:-))
