good point about letting the piece rest - i find i need many on the go at various stages to work well. i also like to move the painting around, so i see it when i wake up, or walk into the kitchen - gives it a fresh perspective... also, sometimes you just need time to see what comes next :)
I am in LOVE with the very first painting. Nice art box you made at Uni too. =D
