This is hydrogen is not obtained through gasoline production. But as a byproduct of Cholorine production.

The speaker was simply giving a comparison.

Are these guys serious? They start making their case for hydrogen by saying it can be obtained as a byproduct from a plant that produces 4000 litres of gasoline per hour? Okay, so what happens when no one uses gasoline? Do they not see the irony?
