how doesn't it take away the emotion? the part is considered emotional because he dies, after waiting TWELVE YEARS, whereas in the movie, he just.... is fossilized. no emotion, no reason, he just is fossilized. him being alone all that time is why is it considered to be so emotional (that and him dying of course), so how does him getting fossilized in a minute not take away the emotion of us seeing him wait for his owner, not knowing he is never going to return?
