Though they are both actually female.. in real life.

They are the more aggressive of the Taelons and therefore could be looked at as male. All Taelons are played by women, but they are put into body suits to give them a more male physical appearance. Taelons supposedly have no specific gender. :)

Sci-Fi meets Broadway - I love it! The song is a perfect fit for the catty relationship between those two.
