  • why did Bush mention 9/11 in this speech. 9/11 had nothing to do with Iraq and it's totally unrelated

  • Best speech of his presidency.

  • i miss him...he was better than Obama. All the time so determined and he always spoke his mind...even though maybe he was not the most articulate man in the whole world. miss u George

  • i miss him too, he was funny also, miss those days...i dont trust obama at all...no back bone makes for a water based fish

  • "To see victory only when it is within the ken

of the common herd is not the acme of excellence.

Neither is it the acme of excellence if you fight

and conquer and the whole Empire says, "Well done!""

-SUN TZU ON THE ART OF WAR

  • this was his finest hour

  • this guy killed the constitution! in his eyes WHE are the terrorists.

  • ... wasn't he FACING the camera when this speech was given?

  • Who marked wiskawind's comment as spam?!?

    It's true!

  • This war is for oil and revenge. Bush is a meat puppet for evil, evil, EVIL Dick Cheyney.

  • There's no denying the fact that both Bush AND Cheney are puppets for the NWO.

  • buch>world trade center=assassin ,bastard

  • He's full of bullshit. Now don't lie to yourself by telling me I'm wrong. That man belongs in prison.

  • Where is the weapons of mass destruction? Get rid of Saddam? Al Qaeda is in Iraq? Obviously, not the mission just an excuse to invade and stay in Iraq. How many more times are we going to let this administration trick the people of this Nation by changing the reasons why our troops are in Iraq.

  • no theyre in iran now :P

  • Bush has admitted his mistakes and changed to the right strategy for ending the war. We now can avoid the country's collapse and create a democracy. We can win now. I'm very convinced that history will look favorably upon our President for his wise and tactful change of course in the face of this quagmire and his serious unpopularity. He will be viewed in a way similar to Truman.

  • Bush came in power with a $236 bn surplus. He will leave after record deficit after another one, your country's debt and banking system own by foreigners.

A small % of that could have paid for national health care system, better education and, who knows, R&D to develop clean technology ...

    This is real sad ...

  • President Bush is the beast... He rocks!!!! He is very powerful. But if they use those war money for health care..or other purpose, economy in America would be way better.... than now. People, man and women went to Iraq because they have no choice, they have to go...they are soldier, do or die. They were commanded by the superiors. They could have worked somewhere like at starbucks and restaurant and enjoy life here in America. Gee..

  • He has no emotion at all! Sounds so much like he

has readed this speech over at over till he remembers it perfectly... This is like in school. Ridicilous.

  • Oh shit, they blew up the mosk?

  • Hippocrite & Idiot on the lowest level possible...

    fuck you george bush

  • bush dosent worry me, the people that vote for him do.

  • I hope someone blows your head off BUSH!!!!!!!!!

  • Let's see...

    a. You spelled "attacked" wrong.

    b. You were probably told by your Daddy to say that.

    c. Isn't it past your bedtime? Get to sleep you 8 year old dumbass.

  • If you like bush thats fine but dont call others idiots for not liking him either. Their as allowed to have their opinions just as much as you..

  • World, please know that we did not elect this fool. He and his Neoconservative allies usurped the elections from the respectable Albert Gore.

It is time for the impeachment, death, or banishment of George W. Bush. He has destroyed the trans-Atlantic alliance, and we are now one of (if not THE) most despised countries in the world.

For the sake of our country, PLEASE resign President Bush!

  • This man is the biggest criminal in the world. He is the greatest threat to peace alive. He only cares about his own goals in Iraq, and has threatened the Turks for wanting to protect their own people from the communist Kurdish insurgency, located in Northern Iraq.

  • why do people still listen to this NAZI CUNT!!!

  • owl worshipping nazi sympathising occultist

  • man this is like ww1 were germany was blamed for the start of the war but in this speech bush is hinting that its the iraqies falt but it is his falt for letting them in there if he would have just let them grow there hash then there would never be a war and if the oil compunies didnt want to make huge bucks we would have never had 9/11 but bush is a fag and has to make money in any way

  • just leave iraq now. end the war now. what a chimp

  • dude, listen, if we take our troops out of iraq, do you know what will happen?we will be vulnerable. and they will come and attack us are you stupid?

  • Worst mistake ever. I only believe in war if there is a good reason for it. Iraq was just a huge mistake, but good job on war on terrorism. Now listen to this speech and the speech on 9/11. Couple of the best speeches in U.S. history. How is it possible that after making such great speeches all of a sudden just go on a decline?

  • bush is luking great

  • I can't take Bush seriously when he is so obviously reading off of a teleprompter - he's just reading a carefully devised mission statement to send to the American people. It would me nice to see him speak directly to the camera; speak the way he used to when he was still the governor of Texas. He could actually speak fluent, advanced English back then.

  • Um...doctorfist...ALL presidents have read speeches off teleprompters since they were invented. Clinton read off teleprompters 100% of the time. So did Bush Sr. And Reagan. And Carter, etc.

  • But..the thing is with Bush is that its so obviously different from the way he normally speaks. With clinton, bush sr., reagan...at least it still sounded like they were speaking from the heart. I guess I'm aggravated that it sounds especially artificial in this case due to Bush's otherwise poor grip on the english language. But truly, I suppose they're all artificial

  • Teleprompters 100% of the time? Wrong!!!

    Please don't have a thought...

Think it makes sense to you...

And then speak it like you know.

Look at past footage and see speeches made by the formers you mentioned:

Doctorfist (whatever that means) gave his honest impression. Bush seems inauthentic. And you respond with made up shit?

Also, Bush Sr., Reagan, and Nixon rarely spoke candidly in public whereas Carter and Clinton did frequently.

  • Surge's working. Bush's right.

  • no. you are an american so you can say whatever the fuck you want. doesn't mean it's not idoitic.

  • I wonder if they spell his speech on the teleprompter phonetically.

  • amusingly, 6 months after you posted this, it was confirmed that his speeches were spelled out phonetically

  • All hail the mighty Nostradamus! I never knew I had it in me.

  • we went from no connection to 911 to no weapons of massdestruction to who will dominate the middle east. Even the biggest idiot can't believe this propaganda anyomre. But there are still the ones in denial:)

  • No one can stop Bush.

  • You're a damn fool.

  • 3 x 3

  • As far as I can see we've been doing it all wrong. The only option that is left is to ride this mammy until the country goes tits-up. The annihilation we've caused around the world only brings us closer to our own. That's what I get out of post WWII US foreign policy.

  • As far as I can see, we have been doing everything wrong, and the only option left is to ride this mammy until the world goes tits-up. The annihilation we're causing in Iraq is only moving us closer to our own.

  • Clinton was no treat either but I give him a basic level of respect that any president deserves. They don't make decisions alone and the war on terror doesn't exist in a vacuum!

  • Bush speaks of sacrifice. What has HE sacrificed? His paycheck is bigger, his taxes are lower, his relatives are richer, and his daughters are party girls drinking and screwing under the supervision of the Secret Service.

He must be prosecuted as the war criminal that he is. Now.

  • Bush has sacrificed a normal life like yours and mine for a life in politics where he has earned the ultimate honor of serving the American people as President. He is the one that has to make all the tough decisions to protect us and the rest of the world from terrorism and all he gets is hate from his own people!!! What have you done lately for this coutry that protects you? Honestly, why not just move to another coutry where you can hate America in peace?

  • what a joke. game over.

go to jail: go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200

  • I'm sure you have some inovative ideas on how to fight terror and win the war in Iraq. Let's here some of them? Try to come up with something original. We are in Iraq whether you like it or not and the War on Terror needs attention. Seriously, what would you do?

I'd also like to know exactly what Bush did to justify any criminal offenses or impeachment?

  • i'd like to hear some innovative ideas to "win" by this current administration. sadly, the ones calling the shots since this began have all been short-sighted and underestimated the will of the ruthless terrorists.

Modern day wars are not fought in a way that can be clearly won. Especially not in the current state of that region.

  • Enlighten me on how modern day wars should be fought. What is your foreign policy on the war on terror? Maybe everything you say is right but now what do we do? What would the next president that you elect do?

  • The options are to either increase troop levels, rapidly decrease troop levels (exit) or maintain current troop levels with a new organized strategy for x months. The former doesnt help in the long-term and only buys "political" time (wait and see). The latter puts the whole situation in the hands of the an unprepared implodable iraq "government".

  • modern day wars, ideally, would be won and lost in a conference room, but thats not reality. but the kind of war we have here is a cat and mouse game where mostly civilians are being murdered by the "soldiers of war". I dont have a proposed new way to fight. I just know that it cannot be won unless the standards of what winning means is lowered.
