Can I just say that you're the first right-winger whom I actually respect. It's good to know that not EVERYONE is into the whole mud-slinging thing. I'm not a Liberal (Grit) , although I'm definitely left-wing, and it's good to see that you are not one of those blinded by ideology and hatred, and that you seem capable of making objective statements. Thank you! It's refreshing to see instead of the usual people cherry-picking facts just to support their ideology.
you have no idea what your talking about. the cbc , all our education systems, are all massive liberal brainwashing stations for the slave class. you people have no idea what planet you are living on and you will see the error of your ways very soon.
except the videos sow people voting the same answer for each different answer, and the same result is always the liberal party....that sounds biased to me....
As for your assertion that "the CBC" wants you to vote Liberal, would you be kind enough to your viewers to substantiate that allegation? Names of specific persons at the CBC? Or is this the corporation's official position in the election? Evidence of statements revealing that "the CBC" wants you to vote Liberal?
I very much doubt your assertion could be justified in court were you to be sued for libel.
@kiwehtin While I don't think I'd have difficulty defending that assertion in court should the national public broadcaster be so willing to litigate, my first course of proceedings would be to have evidence entered that proves I'd ever made such an assertion.
While I'm at it... I might ask you to do the same.
Just so people know this. Where the parties are located on the map is determined by the answers to the questions that *the parties provided themselves*, simply by answering how strongly they agree or disagree with each of the questions. The survey shows efficiently how close a person's answers are to the positions of each of the parties. That's all. No bias.
There is only one major criticism I can think of, and that is that the parties' own answers would have been best shown as clouds of dots.
1. If all the parties are in the UL quadrant and the Conservatives are on the far right of the rest, then they are closest to the centre.
2. Can we infer, from what you've said, that the Tories are heading towards a defeat, with your Liberals winning the most seats?
3. FYI I am Canadian. Nobody in my country spells "biased" the way you do. Well, except those that spell it incorrectly. You really do have a problem admitting when you're wrong, don't you?!? Sad.
1. No. Your logic is absolute and doesn't pertain to the situation. You're assertion that all the parties are in the UL is based on your idea of Right = Capitalist and Left = Socialist. As I've said before on my podcast... I don't like this idea, but I get it. (It should be Right = less gov't control, Left = more gov't control.) In Canada, take the party farthest to the right and the party farthest to the left. Find the point in the middle. That's the approximate centre.
2. No. You cannot infer anything about the election from what I said because I didn't say anything about the election.
3. You really do have a problem typing "biassed" into Google, don't you? (I'll give you a hint... Canadians and Americans have different spellings for certain words.)
Please respond with something intelligent sounding. I'm a socially liberal, fiscally conservative right-winger... and you're embarrassing me. I don't love Sarah Palin. She's an idiot.
@RadioUnderdog You're an interesting mixture of hatred & stupidity. Your parents must be so proud. In no way, shape or form are you a "conservative right-winger". You perfectly fit the archetype of a Lieberal [sic] - ignorant through & through and arrogant beyond belief.
As stated before, I am a Canadian and very well know how "biased" is spelled. To double-check though, I consulted a number of others in our country. You're absolutely, 100% wrong about this spelling!!!
How is it not biased!! if you neither agree or disagree with anything then you are not center. Your are an idiot but you are not center. If you have no opinion then you should not be placed anywhere on vote compass.
@RadioUnderdog im sorry but it is biassed im a conservative and i answered all questions in a right wing way every time i did it came up i was closest to liberals and farthest from the conservatives im sorry but the cbc is our equivalent of fox news they chose what to report
@444CURTIS You're lying....I did the exact same thing, and it told me I was "conservative" . When I went back and answered it with my TRUE beliefs, it CORRECTLY identified me with the party I'm closest to. (And btw, this is coming from someone who is NOT a Liberal Party supporter)
Same with my friend Dave, who is a conservative..he took the survey, came out conservative... my spouse took it, came out NDP (which he is). Just 'coz you so badly WANT there to be a bias doesn't make it so
1. ALL political parties in Canada are in the upper left quadrant, with the Conservatives further to the right & bottom than all the others. To deny this fact is foolish.
2. The Liberals are very clearly running a Left-leaning campaign, trying to steal votes away from the NDP. Further evidence that they're nowhere near the centre.
3. "Biased" only has one "s" in the middle, not two.
Knowing you're a Liberal doesn't prevent you from being a Lieberal. As in this video.
It is totally biased you have no idea what you're talking about .

@travster2020
No... if you have no opinion, you are neutral. Neutral = centre. None of the parties are dead centre, where neutral lies.
If you have no opinion, you get the same result as if you agree strongly with everything.
Thoughts?

Three points:
1. Arguable and relative. The farthest right of the left is still right.
2. True, but if you think they can win without converting undecideds between them and the Conservatives, you're mistaken.
3. Not in my country. Interestingly, you can spell "centre."
3.
