Yep. Even In-laws can use CPS against you. It happened to my husband and I. My mother-in-law visited me in the hospital to see my baby and then called CPS to try to get my baby taken away from me. While I was in the hospital and my husband was in Iraq, my step-children were staying with them. The CPS worker told them that they could refuse to go with me to where my husband got stationed in Germany, even though he had/s custody. My step-son is with us now, but it tooks a year. Thanks CPS!
