Very interesting approach, not as ferocious as McCoy or Gonzalo, but some nice complex voicings on the head -- too bad it faded out mid-solo... I've heard some really interesting versions of Giant Steps over the years -- check out Anthony Braxton solo from 74, and I remember hearing Billy Childs in the mid-80's do some very interesting things with Giant Steps solo piano

@1761rw I believe the main "catch" of these kind of reharmonisation that you are asking for is to play harmonic major (flat6th)on 1 of the 2-5-1.I guess it sounds intriguing since you have flat 6th and perfect fifth on the melody.Of course that's the only small part of it but i guess it should get you started in the right direction.
