  • This shines a little light on things; now if I could apply this to my life I could be a legit christian, not having to fake it till I make it.

  • i first heard this song as a young kid and to this day, this song has proven the test of time and is no doubt one of the greatest songs ever, in particular the gospel genre. Powerful melody and music, powerful inspirational lyrics. a true masterpiece. what a pleasure it is to listen to this magical work of art

Thank You God For Your Spirit and Your Word, We Are Blessed...

MAY WE ALL COME TO KNOW JESUS AND UNDERSTAND HIS LOVE....

  • @aMgVbros4aetas

Yes sir make you wonder of his other songs, Phil Collins, Eye In the Sky!

  • A President, A King, A General, running to you? To save You to give his Life for you or me? Never Heard of it? Well God did, He ran from something To Something. God Ran To,......YOU!

  • @aMgVbros4aetas yes he does sound like Phil Collins?

  • There is a rumor that Benny Hester will be coming out with a big surprise

  • Awesome Song and love Benny Hester.

  • i really love this song so much... listening to it over and over again...

Thank you so much for this beautiful song.

  • @stevewonder729

  • theives

  • Powerful . Somtimes were close to him, sometimes afar. Sometimes life is easy, and sometimes overwhelming. No matter what, He never leaves us, He's always right there. He truly is a Rock, and His Word does not return void. TY

  • Thank you for loving me, Father GOD...

  • ty Yahshua!

  • I'm sorry I thank this guy for writing this song..but this is nothing compared to the Phillips Craig and Dean version...this one almost sounds like a bad parody...

  • @Kobra1029

sorry to say, but you are crazy (imo). LOL

This is way better than Phillips, Craig, & Dean's version. I think this is the original version of the song.

  • God really loves us

  • God ran to me that very moment when I gave it all to Him!

  • @rockgod...I'm sorry I don't know the title of the song.

  • does anyone know who sang this song . i think it was called jonathan waS PLAYING ON THE RADIO THE SAME TIME AS THIS SONG . it said jonathan ,when will i see you again my brother my faithful friend. i would really appreciate if you do know . i've been looking for that song for a long time

  • Of course the video was rated G... didn't show what the Bible says was the cruel beatings that made him unrecognizeable as a man... the iron nails through his hands and feet...

But the song is just as poignant as it was 25 years ago.

  • What a beautiful song describing God's love and faithfulness to bring his children safely back into his arms of Agape Love! Peace and Love, BobbyK

  • GOD, YOU are simply GREAT and AMAZING!!! Thank You for loving me....

  • @Amylopez15 hahahha..nice comment! ;>

  • That one dislike obviously didn't run to god

  • this has to be the best version of this song ever. i like phlip craig and dean's version but benny's version is my fav.

  • Just as Jesus displayed to us in the garden of Gethsemane. He was humble enough to express how he felt...he was in pain. He didn't challenge the Father to turn things around for Him. In surrender, He still wanted God's will to be done.

Luke 22:42 "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."

  • I'm sorry to burst your bubble. Pls check the verse I gave you. I know He said too in John 14:14 "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." Knowing the nature of a loving God, do you think He would give you something you pray for that might harm you...just because you believe "Anything has only one meaning anything." Pls don't pick something in the Bible just to suit your fancy. To ask God for anything in the name of Jesus Christ, it must be in keeping with what He is.

  • @beloved70x7 May I remind you that your are preaching YOUR brand of christianity, and that there are more than 35.000(denominations) different ways of looking at the gospels.

  • @tallliza Ok, Talliza. Yes I am and I am so at peace and oozing with joy from my brand of Christianity. May you find the one you'll be at peace with. ;>

  • Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and testimonies. ;>

  • Four common sense reasons why I think there is no god; A) Total absence from the natural world. No sign of a god, before, during or after, natural disastres B) The absolute absence of favoritism towards believers. Even chruches need lightning-rods to protect them from god. C) The absence of any reaction, when crimes are committed in his name. D) The suffering of the innocent. One could accept that the guilty must suffer, but children ???

  • @tallliza ....I pray in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS that you'll soften and open your heart to the ONE TRUE GOD who's very much excited to embrace you with His UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Just let Him and you'll know and feel there is...GOD.

  • @beloved70x7 If he loves me, if he wants me, he knows how to get me. Give me one irrefutable sign of his existence. He went(supposedly) through so much trouble 2.000 years ago, why should a liitle sign be too much ?

  • @tallliza God DOES love you, He DOES want you and He DEFINITELY knows how to get you...but I think you don't allow Him. Signs? They are EVERYWHERE. But to give you one...THE CROSS. I believe God led you to the UNDENIABLE message of this video and song. Simply BELIEVE and INVITE JESUS in your heart as your LORD and SAVIOUR. Tell Him you NEED him in your life and you'll FIND the answers to your unbelief. Thanks for sharing what's in your heart and mind. Feel free to get in touch again.

  • @beloved70x7 A very christian comment indeed, I am not used to that.

  • @tallliza Maybe it's about time you get use to it, who knows....you'll find what you're looking for ;>

This is what's in my heart and I wouldn't want to share just "made-up" stuff...this is my personal experience....something that actually happened to me and gave me a much better life. And I believe it's the same thing for everybody. If you want signs, first, seek with a humble heart the CREATOR of signs. ;>

  • Sometimes I think that we look to hard for signs from God. Often it is just a quiet voice that we hear, but all to often we don't hear that voice because we just don't listen. I think that all of us believers have times when we question God about things that happen. But at the end of the day, I would rather have walked through life believing in God and find out that there really isn't one, than to walk through life not believing and find out that there really isa God. Just as I am. Seek him.

  • @tallliza . Take a look at my personal experience with Jesus Christ and His mighty changing power.

    msbutler59.tripoddotcom/id14.html

  • @msbutler59 Personal experiences prove nothing. Would you accept that the fact that some priests became atheists, that that is proof atheism is right / Of course not. So whatever your experiences were, they prove nothing.

  • @tallliza Did you read my personal experience testimony? EVERYONE has a story and mine isn't the same as ANY priest who turned to atheism. I was raised Catholic and played their traditions until I met Jesus personally. You should read the testimony, THEN give me a comment back. Have you ever experienced something in your life in which someone couldn't talk you out of believing you experienced it? Receiving Jesus Christ into your heart is GREATEST undeniable experience you can ever have.

  • @msbutler59 Have you ever experienced something in your life in which someone couldn't talk you out of believing you experienced it-- Yes sir. But personal experiences prove nothing.

  • @tallliza You must not have read my testimony which clearly states why I believe in Jesus Christ as the Creator of the world and my personal Savior. I had an experience with Him over 30 years ago and our relationship gets stronger every day. It is regrettable to hear someone deny the very person who can fulfill your greatest hopes and desires in this life and the eternity to come. You are hopeless in persuading me out of following Jesus after I have lived so many years in reality with HIM.

  • u want a god that's going 2 fill a certain criteria.the Jews are waiting for a messiah 2 fulfill a criteria they think the messiah should fulfill. if God relieved all reasonable suffering then most ~might believe. I find often He doesn't change the situation...He changes u... your perception..that makes ALL the difference. Seek with your heart & u will find...i hope he will give u the "sign" you're looking 4.

  • @Lisacee7 .the Jews are waiting for a messiah 2 fulfill a criteria they think the messiah should fulfill--

The Messiah should fulfill the criteria of the prophecies.. The jews know the prophecies and like a few before Jesus, they found that he did not fulfill the prophecy. And even 2.000 years later, they still maintain did he did not fulfill the prophecies.

  • @tallliza The Bible is very clear in stating the Jewish leaders in Jesus time KNEW he was the ONE. They were fullfilling God's Master Plan and Purposive Will when they captured, tortured and crucified Our Lord in the manner they did. There are so many prophecies fullfilled in Jesus life that it would be astronomically impossible to deny He is whi He said He is. Pretty much as clear as the fact of Creation over evolution. Living for Christ is reality. Living without Him is living a fairytale.

  • @msbutler59 Did you ever read a rebuttal of all these so called prophecies ? Did you ever read anything opposed to your view, to find out the truth. Did you ever read all he objections historians have against the fulfillment of bible prophecies ? If you didn`t, how can you claim, you are right ? If creation is right, then tell me why out of 106 colleges, that form the.. Christian Coalition of Colleges... only 5 teach litteral biblical creation ?

  • @tallliza Our world as we know it is soon to end and only those who have been washed in the blood of the lamb and overcoming are going to escape the Tribulation that is inevitable. Look around you and recognize that this world is headed to utter ruin as the Bible prophesied. My Testimony is msbutler59.tripodDOTcom/id14.html and is a living witness of who Jesus is and what He can do for your life if you let Him. You seek a sign when there have been signs before your eyes all your life :O

  • @msbutler59 I admire your fantasy.. You should write science fiction

  • @tallliza Does that mean you read my testimony? I assure you it is true and only a fraction of events are mentioned. I could write a book on real-life events before and after meeting Jesus which would blow you away because they are absolutely true. God is Awesome and to think He desires to have an intimate relationship with us, greater than anything you have EVER experienced.

  • @msbutler59 Why do you think you are so special, that this allmingthy, super-intelligent being stoopes down to you to give you a revelation. I admire your youthful enthousiasm. It won`t last, even with that undescribable experience. I have been there. Believe it or not.

  • @tallliza Did you read my testimony? You wouldn't have to ask me these questions if you did. We are ALL very special to God because He created us for a purpose. That purpose is simply to make His Name (nature)known. He is LORD, GOD, Merciful, Gracious, Longsuffering, Abundant in Goodness, Abundant in Truth, Provider of Bountifulness, Forgiver of Iniquities, Transgressions and Sins and Just Judge. Whether you choose Him or not, He WILL make His Name known in your life. He owes it to Himself

  • @msbutler59 Did you read my testimony? I do not have to read your testimony sir. I could wriite exactly the same, without reading yours. Enjoy your fantasy while it lasts.

  • @tallliza Very well. Thank you for replying. In closing, I would just say you couldn't possibly write the same testimony as i did and now be denying Christ in your life. You obviously haven't been touched by the Creator in a way that keeps me going 30+ years later. My life has never been the same since Jesus came into my heart and the fantasy life ended when the Truth made Himself known to me. :)

  • @msbutler59 I suggest to read a book about mystic experiences.. You will read that someof those who were privileged to have such an experience, in the end. become agnostic, even atheists.

  • @tallliza No thank you. My heart and soul has already found what it had been looking for when I was a seeker. Jesus is a keeper. Mysticism is reserved for those who choose Lucifer and his lies. Once you taste of Jesus Christ you are spoiled to the wiles of the devil. My fight is with Leviathan and I choose to follow Jesus till He calls me home to my eternal home. Praise God for the Lamb of God who washed away my sin and continues to do so every day. Glory to God!!!

  • @msbutler59 Mysticism is reserved for those who choose Lucifer and his lies.. Sorry man, it is obvious, you have no clue what mysticism is.

  • @tallliza Your attitude of open-minded and seeking skepticism is commendable, and will no doubt serve you well in your search for truth.

The prophecies describe a wide range of roles 4 the messiah, some of which are @ tension with others. the problem of messiah-recognition would exist....mainly how 2 integrate the data describing a Suffering/Rejected messiah, & the data describing a Triumphant messiah. Jews were expecting a messiah-king 2 deliver them from Rome. They formed an expectation of wh

  • @tallliza True, Like your 4 common sense criteria that a God should prevent suffering..The Jews had specific expectations and their interpretation of prophecies....Jews were expecting a messiah-king to deliver Israel from Rome. This is why Pharisees' question on whether or not 2 pay tribute 2 Caesar. Jesus lost much popularity when answering this question. The Jews' hopes for a messiah who would raise the standard of rebellion against Rome were disappointed that day.

  • @Lisacee7 These are very nice considerations. Unfortunately you have no evidence for your claims .. Why would a people, who expects a Messiah, not carefully check the credentials of those who claim to be trhe Messiah ?

  • @tallliza no evidence for what claim? they should check his credentials..I content jesus did fulfill the prophesies but not in the EXPECTED way..they expected a king that would have a kingdom. He is a KING in every sense of the word..He did establish his kingdom..just not brick n' mortar. preconceived ideas about how things SHOULD be can hinder us from seeing the truth. quote:"If you knew the father u would know me..the sheep know the Sheppards voice" he didn't come as expected they didn't

  • @Lisacee7 they expected a king that would have a kingdom. --- Where did you get this nonsense. In bible class ?

They know the prophecies better then anybody. Yet they claim he did not fulfill them.

  • @tallliza Messiah is used in the Hebrew Bible to describe priests and kings..as described in Exodus 30:22-25.

  • @tallliza They know the prophecies better then anybody. Yet they claim he did not fulfill them.... i answered this...I content jesus did fulfill the prophesies but not in the EXPECTED way. evidently no answer anyone gives will satisfy you. Now answer mine..why do you chose to present your opposition here? What's your motive? .your cup is evidently full & the believers here are immovable in their faith. Your obviously very intelligent & logical..i can't follow your logic? Thanks~

  • @Lisacee7 Any government needs a strong opposition. so does every philosophy or world-view. Besides if you knew your bible, you would know, that your faith will be tested.

  • @tallliza Thanks talliza for fulling that role.. as you demonstrated with your questions..life if full of opposition challenges, & tests...we certainly have our hands full in that department. ~indeed..overflowing.. I just lost a baby this month so i understand your questions of why..i've had many of those myself. what we really need more of.. a few more willing to offer love, compassion and understanding. Best to you in your quest.

  • @Lisacee7 Sorry to hear of your loss. you must a strong personality. With every adversity I ask WHY and nobody answers.

  • @tallliza "I believe in the sun,

even when it is not shining.

    I believe in love,

even when I don't feel it.

    I believe in God,

    even when there is silence."

  • @Lisacee7 People in distress look for anything possible, that might bring relief from the mess they are in. God I must admit, is one of the placebos that work most often

  • @tallliza ..I can honestly say my belief has been a comfort..it certainly does WORK for me...and many with dramatic result though anecdotal. Everyone goes thru trials... So let's let them have their peace and comfort...and stop the mocking and antagonism... even a so called "placebo" has it's place yes. so in the immortal words of Paul McCartney...Let it be, let it be, .....

  • @Lisacee7 and in the immortal words of John Lennon "Imagine there's no Heaven, It's easy if you try, No hell below us, Above us only sky, Imagine all the people, Living for today, Imagine there's no countries, It isn't hard to do, Nothing to kill or die for, And no religion too, Imagine all the people, Living life in peace" You say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one!

  • @Lisacee7 um according to the bible no matter what a JEW believes they will all go to hell!! The christian god is a hateful god according to the bible. One day I hope all humans will open their eyes and see the truth, there is no god, there is no heaven, there is no satan and there is no hell. All religion and the bible are meant for is to brainwash the masses so they can be better controlled by the people in power.

  • @KatySteffen so you spend your time looking at christian videos that Christians are viewing and try to debate them in the posts? Why can't i just believe what I believe and u the same...with RESPECT. I'm not knocking on your door trying to convert you. I'm not going to atheists commentary on youtube and debate. I know i can't change you ...and you can't change me.

  • @Lisacee7 I was asked to watch this video by a christian to try and persuade me into believing and just because you, yourself may not come knocking on my door does not mean that the people from your same religion do not. You throw your lot in with them and just as you have the right to post your opinion, I also have the right to post mine!

  • @KatySteffen I'm not affiliated with any religion and am only a personal follower of the teaching of Jesus. i would advise responding 2 this particular christian u r referring 2. You replied to ME personal... in particular. I would like 2 elaborate on your comments about going to hell, & "christian god is a hateful god according 2 the bible." but there isn't enough space in the posts...if u want 2 discuss more send email 2 me personally and I can respond if you'd like more of my opinion.

  • @tallliza As a scientist, I expect statistical proof whenever possible to convince me of most things. But as I continue to mature, I've become more and more impressed by the frequency of statistically highly improbable events. In their very improbability, I began to see the fingerprints of God. --- Dr M. Scott Peck

  • @Lisacee7 To invoke a supernatural intervention each time you have an event with a high statistical improbability, is stone-age thinking. As our knowledge advances, statistical improbabilities, due to misunderstandings, are decreasing. Flying ,was highly statistical improbable 200 years ago.

  • @tallliza I have to say THIS. Just the fact that you were inquisitive enough to look into "When God Ran" gives hope that somewhere inside you soul is seeking the Truth and you can find it in HIM.

  • @tallliza I was basically thinking of universal statistical impossibilities such as life generating from non-life. You see random chance...I don't think it's unintelligent or stone-age thinking if I don't see it as random.

  • @Lisacee7 Well sir/lady start studying and you will see.. Just tell me how did god SPEAK the whole universe into being, OUT OF NOTHING ?

  • @tallliza well talliza start studying & YOU will see...tell me how the formation of the universe happen with a BIG BANG? hard 2 do in 400 characters right! K.I.M. the scientific explanation is filled with hypothesis & conjecture.. there is no proof of YOUR "religion"..then it wouldn't be theory. BTW, curious.. why do you chose to present your opposition here? What's your motive/aim ..your cup is evidently "full" & the believers here are immovable in their faith. is this intelligent/ logical?

  • @tallliza here's a thought? If God had made us to do only good, we wouldnt be able to experience real love. When we have the ability to choose right or wrong and to love or to hate the meaningful part of it comes from the point that we chose the good over the bad. When you program a robot to do only good it doesnt mean anything, that's what you told it to do so it did it. beyond all this the true message of God and Jesus is of grace and salvation. Hope you understand this. Just a thought Thanks

  • @tallliza you're way off. The Existence of God is not dictated by whether he is benevolent or not. Nor can we draw any conclusion from what happens. Honestly, the whole "how can there be god when ______ happens?" is stupid and illogical. God represents order, and you say there is no divine presence in the natural world. your brain, from which your contemplations spring, is a complex network of neurons, indescribably complicated but effective. if that's not order, or possibly god, what is?

  • @Cian23able Honestly, the whole "how can there be god when ______ happens?" is stupid and illogical-- Absolutely not.. Just tell me how you can reconcile, the idea of a loving caring, just, almighty god, with the horrible death of 100.000 innocent children in Haiti ?

  • @tallliza sometimes it's not why does God let bad things happen 2 good people but why do we? it's a sensitive issue on your heart for a reason. what did u personally do to help those 100.000 innocent children suffering in Haiti? God consistently uses willing people to help people.-WE are the BODY of Christ. Just cause u can't reconcile a loving caring God not intervening in EVERY area of suffering in the world doesn't mean it's proof of His non-existence-that u state are "common sense" reason

  • @Lisacee7 what did u personally do to help those 100.000 innocent children suffering in Haiti? That is besides the point. By the way, I did my share. The point is, how can you call this god loving , caring and just, when he he the power to save 100.000 children , and looks the other way/?

  • @tallliza that is my point!!! he doesn't look away..he doesn't always interview in the way WE think he should he often uses US.

  • @Lisacee7 . So how did he intervene ? If you ask, me there is little to show in Haiti ,from this DIVINE intervention. !!

  • @tallliza That IS my point!!!! God doesn't often intervene in a way we THINK He should..he uses US..u and me. Faith is not an insurance policy, but a blanket of assurance that God will be with us no matter what we encounter.

  • @tallliza Saying that there is an intrinsic connection between the existence of a (read: benevolent) god, and 100,00 kids in Haiti is, again, stupid and illogical. Using your argument, we may as well curse God all together for making us mortal in the first place. "He made us right? Then why can we die, why is there hurt? etc." It's old, ignorant and ill-informed. Just because a God, the God, whatever God created the universe does not mean that he has an active role... but God exists nonetheless.

  • @Cian23able You are indeed ill informed. No existing religion has ever been able to justify the suffering of the INNOCENT, if there is a loving, caring just god. He supposedly has the elements under his control, if not, it is useless to pray for anything. So believers accept that he intervenes in this world., otherwise they would not pray for health, rain etc.

  • @tallliza I'm not talking about religion, or belief for that matter. I can simplify: God CAN exist outside of, and wholly independent of, religion. You are pigeon-holing God as a being who has a responsibility, a fiduciary duty if you will, to save us from harm. Religion is a man-made vessel for the alleviation of sin and fear. Saying that God cannot exist because of a natural disaster is like saying a parent cannot exist because they got drunk, while their toddler fell in a pool and drowned.

  • @Cian23able I am not talking philosophy here my friend, I am talking reality. How the hell, can you call your god loving, caring, compassionate, just, when he does not act, just compassionate etc as we humans understand those words. A loving god cannot exist ,if he has the power to save 100.000 innocent kids, and doesn`t do it.

  • @tallliza With regards to "total absence of God from the natural world." You may not see Him physically but you can let Him live in your heart. He's actually knocking at the door of your heart. Revelation 3:20 "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." Why don't you let Him in? If you want to feel His presence, it's not a mind thing...but a heart thing...one-on-one. Let him in.

  • @beloved70x7 The bible, the salvation story is most probably not true. A simpel test; Jesus repeatedly said ANTHING you ask in my name, the father will give you. Just something, tangible, verifiable, in jesus name, and see what happens.. If you don`t get it, Jesus is a liar or didn`t mean what he said.

  • @tallliza Once you have Him in your heart, you'll burst out with joy shouting to the world, there is a living God. That's the only way you'll know it. You'll never know it by analyzing what's happening around you. It is what's happening in you that you'll know His presence.

  • @tallliza If I may ask, what something tangible are you asking for? Why ask for something else when He is already offering you the best...His love???

  • @beloved70x7 He said ANYTHING... Anything has only one meaning ANYTHING...

  • @tallliza Yes, but it doesn't stop there...I John 5:14 qualifies what He will grant: "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, He hears us."

  • @beloved70x7 Wrong, He said many times ask anything and you will get it. He did not attach any conditions. No if`s and or buts. What he said is plain and obvious and needs no interpretation

  • @tallliza And praying is NOT an invitation from God for us to challenge Him ....to twist His arm to change things or situation. But to change us. It is an invitation to express our dependency on Him, to express our heartfelt gratitude as well. It is not to dictate on God. But to show our humility and our willingness to submit.

  • @tallliza You are so far off the mark it's not funny. Before I was arguing semantics, but now I realise that you're simply a troll. YOU ARE IGNORANT, and considering that existence of god is such a sensitive subject it's unconscionable to come here to this page and talk your crap. Quit trolling, do some research, and maybe you'll begin to see that what you consider evidence in support of a Godless universe is groundless and childish. Anyone who has seriously thought about the subject will agree.

  • @Cian23able Yes do some research and you will see that there i little truth in the bible. The Creation story in Genesis, is so stupid, so infantile, that even the great majority of Christian colleges, do not teach litteral biblical creation.

  • I'm sorry, but I've looked at it both ways, and to me logically it's easier to believe in a grand designer than in a "random event" that created life and the perfect balance of the earth. Both take faith, but for me it came down to having faith in an almighty God over a mass becoming the beauty of the Grand Canyon, or a 1 day old child. I don't really care what Christian colleges believe, what I do know is that we need infantile faith in our lives according to Mark 10:13-15.

  • @simonhouse7 Enjoy your infantile faith.

  • @tallliza Well I'll keep doing my best. You should give it a try yourself sometime, you may just be shocked at the result.

  • @simonhouse7 You are just in love with love... But then , fake hope is still better than none.

  • @Cian23able

Does it really matter? Think about it. What possible harm does it do to believe? Does it harm anyone to believe in Santa or the Tooth Fairy. In no way am I comparing this to biblical stories, but simply pointing out the fact that it really doesn't matter. It's all good!

  • @doctord185 How can you say it is all good when we have people like the phelps cult (who are the only religious cult that dont pick and chose what they like out of the bible and leave out what they dont like) who do nothing but prove gods hate? If you believe in the bible you should believe in everything is says, but no you chose what you like because you know just like I do what a disgusting book it actually is.

  • @KatySteffen Quite the contrary. I don't think it is a disgusting book at all. As a matter of fact, I'm rather fond of many of the stories..I'm not concerned on the accuracy or inaccuracy...what has been put in or omitted, nor am I concerned with what you, any religion or person believes or teaches. I am only concerned with how it makes ME feel...which is good....fact or fiction, I really don't care...either way I have met God....invited Him into my heart, and have welcomed Him to stay.

  • @doctord185 oh yea I love stories about rape, slavery, incest and sexism (can you feel the sarcasm). I guess ignorance really is bliss. I hope you live your life to the fullest and not just in anticipation for the "afterlife".

  • @KatySteffen IF I found out today that it was all just a lie....My life will not change in any way...I would be the exact same person that I am today. My life has been and is very fulfilled...and I am a very, very happy and content individual. We all are entitled to our own opinion...and I respect your opinion, and do not feel a need to attempt to argue my point or beliefs, nor to challenge yours. I do appreciate your passion...passion gives us purpose. Keep up your passion!! :)

  • @KatySteffen I suppose a good story does appeal to many. I would have to admit that I've watched the movie "Scarface" more than once....as well as other movies with even more violence. Just Sayin......

  • @KatySteffen I suppose a good story does appeal to many. I would have to admit that I've watched the movie "Scarface" more than once....as well as other movies with even more violence. Just Sayin......(and btw.....I will stick by my promise...it's been confirmed) :)

  • @KatySteffen Go watch Martin Luther King's last speech "I've been to the Mountain top" I've been there too Katy, and I too have been allowed to look over that mountain and see the Promise Land.

You will too Katy..sooner than you might think!

    I Promise!!

    Love and Light :)

  • @doctord185 Your mind is a powerful thing and it will show you whatever you want to see, just as a woman who wishes to be pregnant and thinks of nothing else can have a positive pregnancy test even when she is not pregnant. Do not make false promises to me about things you believe but have no facts and where is this promise land? under the firmament that holds our sky (which is made up completely of water) and that our sun and moon hang in? no thanks I think that our scientists have it right.

  • The first time I heard this song I was in 6th or 7th grade, at church camp. Back then music was about the only way I connected anything or anyone, being stuck in my own crazy junior high world. "When God Ran" spoke to my soul and helped jolt me back to God. I will always love this song and will always be grateful for its message.

  • Phillips, Craig, & Dean produced an excellent version of this song.

  • I love this song and just the thought of God running to meet me when He sees me sends chills down my spine. God never leaves us, we are the ones who run from Him when things don't go our way...watch this video and imagine God running to hug you!

  • So Beautiful! I don't remember what year this song came out, but I remember it was Song of the Year. Those were the days when you could turn on the radio and hear songs like this, but that was a lifetime ago. Nice memories of my youth and my early walk with Christ. Thanks so much for posting.

  • Thank you for making this video...I was in the pig pen until a couple of weeks ago...like the prodigal son, I was reminded of His love for me. I wasn't sure He would take me back as I had been so far from Him but...I am on the road home and I see Him running to meet me! I am bawling right now, but with gratefulness and joy that He loves me so much He forgives me. How awesome that the CREATOR runs with joy to his creation to welcome them home. I am in awe and humbled by His love and grace.

  • Thank you, Daddy God, for loving us so very much ~ inspite of ..... our sins. My life verse is 1 Timothy 1:15 which says, "Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. " I love you so much,Daddy God!!!

  • no matter how much we screw up, how far we try and run away, everytime we come back and ask forgiveness, he welcomes us back. NO MATTER WHAT! can Islam do the same? Does Allah show this kind of love?? Only Jesus does, the Master and Creator of all, and our personal Savior. The one true King of Kings and Lord of Lords!!

  • classic! i love this song! heard it from my uncle a pastor... he used it as an altar call and many accepted Christ and I was 8yrs.old back then

  • Thank you Father GOD for saving me and drawing me nearer to you

  • All I can say is, something drew me to this song. I began to tremble, I fell to my knees and cried. Oh my God, please help me.

  • @mikeinsf thank God tht he drew you in, and that you responded. This song did the same for me in 1984 when it was released, and still does everytime I find myself living outside the will of God for my life. It is so assuring, knowing that he is always watching for our return to him...and the welcoming embrace He gives us as we approach.

  • Which movie was this?

  • @majajh The Passion of the Christ

  • This song has and always will be I think, the one song which makes me remember what happened when Christ came into my life and how amazing the life is from then until now. I'm not sure why it gets men, but I am one of them. Thanks for posting it.

  • I remember listening to this song using a cassette tape.. until now, it still touches my heart and brings me to a tearful ending.. Thank you for posting this song. God bless!

  • This is the only version I will listen to. The original is always the best. I've had this in my music library since about 1988. Made a whole congregation of men get tears when my little VBS kids sang it during a communion service. (of course we used Benny's sound track) After all these years they still love the song.

  • Thank you so much. I will share this with my high school Bible Students.

    Blessings,

  • Thank you, all for watching. I'm glad you all enjoyed it. Stay blessed!

  • I LOVE YOU JESUS!!! THANK YOU LORD FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF MY SINS!!!

  • Thank you for posting this. I was looking for this version (the ONLY version). The dj played this for me about 22 years ago when I told him my story of rebelling against my Savior, but eventually returning to Him empty (He never left me).
