Wait. Why would a V8 have turbo lag. is generally only a term used for smaller engines due to the lower amount of exhaust gases produced. And being an automatic there is even less need for the turbo to re-spool between shifts.

@sniperlif3 The first generation CTS-V seen here was only available with a TREMEC six speed manual. No automatic '04-'07 CTS-V exists, which is one of the many reasons I love mine. I am considering getting this kit.

@chevelle454ss1 The turbos themselves are designed to handle extreme temps so they are not effected. The actual air intake is up high in the bumper cavity away from any debris or weather.

The air filters sit up high in the wheel well protected from any debris or water. We have done a lot of R&D on just that and as long as the filters are mounted to our specifications you won't have any problems.

@TehHonda From what we have seen as long as you are losing grip it is easier on the diff than if you were making it stick. So if you keep the car daily driver to mess around on the streets vs track car that will make a world of difference on the life of the diff.

there are many cars out there that can handle around 12 psi on stock internals safely, but all of these STS turboed cars are made for a buyer..maybe he didn't want it to be insane, if i were to tune a caddy i know i'd want it to be fast but still a very good comfortable daily driver

while on the psi vs stock internals topic, the ford escort 2.0L zetec in the escort zx2 is capable of handling 15 psi safely and the ford 5.0L H.O mustang gt engine can handle 12 psi with no problems
