i also like the fact that it doesn't paint andy as a bad guy, you get pulled into this emotional thing with the toyz. while the audience still understands that people get older and mature. but the toyz don't know. it like an innocence about them they know humans get older, but they can't really wrap their minds around the fact that people mature.

I give this movie a 1O and in fact would go as far as to say - the Toy Story trilogy is quite possibly the best and most complete movie triology series in cinema history.
Not only are "Woody" and "Buzz" the two main "Toy Story" character's, they're also the two main thing's that I catch, whenever I watch the trilogy. This one, the third, especially, though.
It's a real catch 22 with this kind of movie. If the guys at Pixar made the movie less intense, she would have complained that it's not very interesting for adults and only a little stupid "kids movie".
What's really disturbing is that she watches a computer animated movie about walking and talking plastic toys and she keeps thinking about the holocaust!
So did I get this right? If there is ANY element in a movie that she can, in some twisted way, connect to the holocaust, she gives a much lower rating?

As a stand alone movie its 9/10. If its including the spectrum of the entire series then 10/10. A flawless ending to a great series especially for those who grew up with it.

I liked the movie A LOT!!!, I grew up with it and I was just moving out to college when it came out and I saw it, so I could totally identify myself with that transition of going to college that was going on there, like it really got to me. it's an awesome movie if you saw the other ones you've got to se it.

Holocaust imagery didn't enter my mind at all during the incinerator scene. Not even once. I was in the reality of the story which is that 99% of toys end up in that exact situation. No one was trying to perish these toys over a political agenda. She really handed the nazi's too much power with this review to the point where she couldn't even give one of the greatest films of the year an 8 rating. I find it sad, especially when you know the rescue is coming.

I gotta say that while the movie is among of favourites of 2010 thus far, the midsection of the movie wasn't anything that special - well done, but not consistently incredible like the first two movies. There was a lot of re-hashing from Toy Story 2, especially. However, once the prison break sequence begins and the final act kicks in, it is amazing and original and more than makes up for anything else in the movie.

I absolutely adored this movie! My friend and I went to see it and we were one of the oldest people (who didn't have kids) there. And I really did cry at the end of the movie. It made me feel so bad for getting rid of my old toys. I highly recommend seeing this movie!
Actually, Toy Story has all the categories a movie can have in one amazing movie. So the incinerator scene is a suspence part of the movie, but I totally loved it & made me think about many things while watching the movie. And by the way, this movie has to be enjoyed by the people that grew up with it, (16 & older) and also by little kids, and it totally achieved that. So that 7.9 is a little unfair for me.

I brought my 2 FOUR year old cousins to watch the movie and they were crying at the incinerator scene but not because they were scared but because they thought their favourite characters were gonna die. I liked the movie A LOT!!!, I grew up with it and I was just moving out to college when it came out and I saw it, so I could totally identify myself with that transition of going to college that was going on there, like it really got to me. it's an awesome movie if you saw the other ones you've got to se it.
and it's not scary at all like I don't know what the hell she is thinking when she says that it could be very scary for kids (that's just stupid).

Holocaust imagery didn't enter my mind at all during the incinerator scene. Not even once. I was in the reality of the story which is that 99% of toys end up in that exact situation. No one was trying to perish these toys over a political agenda. She really handed the nazi's too much power with this review to the point where she couldn't even give one of the greatest films of the year an 8 rating. I find it sad, especially when you know the rescue is coming.

I gotta say that while the movie is among of favourites of 2010 thus far, the midsection of the movie wasn't anything that special - well done, but not consistently incredible like the first two movies. There was a lot of re-hashing from Toy Story 2, especially. However, once the prison break sequence begins and the final act kicks in, it is amazing and original and more than makes up for anything else in the movie.

I absolutely adored this movie! My friend and I went to see it and we were one of the oldest people (who didn't have kids) there. And I really did cry at the end of the movie. It made me feel so bad for getting rid of my old toys. I highly recommend seeing this movie!

Actually, Toy Story has all the categories a movie can have in one amazing movie. So the incinerator scene is a suspence part of the movie, but I totally loved it & made me think about many things while watching the movie. And by the way, this movie has to be enjoyed by the people that grew up with it, (16 & older) and also by little kids, and it totally achieved that. So that 7.9 is a little unfair for me.
