when the lane is completely blocked it i probably church services, i wondered why that happens too. just take the lane and be defensive till you pass the cars
People like that only act like selfish, antisocial imbeciles like that because no one calls them out on it and makes them feel like jerks for it. Every time someone throws their 4-way blinkers on in a bike/right lane, drives in a bike lane, or otherwise drives like they're the only person in Philly, they get an ear full from me. Hate those people.
This helps make the case for green paint and better signage. Driving a vehicle shouldn't feel this comfortable in a buffered bike lane. Occasional plastic bollards or dare I say separation barriers might be the treatment that will get more of the "curious but concerned" crowd onto 2 wheels in Philly.

I really wish Philly would make bike lanes like the ones in Montreal.

I saw a full block of cars PARKED in the bike lane. Makes driving in it seem less bad... is this normal for you up in Philly?

On the bright side it's great to see three bicyclists in the 7 blocks.

Parked cars would usually keep this from happening, I'm quite surprised to see that there wasn't a single one in the whole seven blocks.

What kind of camra do you have?

Wow. I think we should require licenses, insurance and registration for those motorists - that would stop the law breaking for sure!
