The HD4670 will run it fine on low resolutions, i think it will work on high without AA + AF on 1024x768 resolution. hm, maybe u should buy a better CPU, maybe a E7200 for 100€ it´s a great deal or if u have a bit more money get the E8400 ;)
No it doesn't run in the same engine... this one is called Dunia eNGINE and it's made just for far cry 2... the cryengine ist another one, and it's only used on crysis.. :D
hmmmm. i think at 1024x768 it will run on all maximum settings with no antialiasing because that is the such a tiny recolution. also the E7200 can do 3.16GHz on stock cooler. 333 fsb, 9.5 multiplier, stock voltage.
my single core 1.8 ghz 2 gigs ram and a 128 meg geforce 6400 plays this game on low just fine

I ask because I know the HD 4670 is supposed to be similar to the 9600gso in performance. Just wondering how my old CPU will affect if at all.

hmm, my E7200 is overcloked at 3.7 ghz with Zalman 9500 leds; I would take a hd 4850 512 mo like video card for remplace my hd 3850
With E7200, you can o/c at 3.2 ghz on stock voltage with stock cooler. 65°C full power under occt.
