I like the song and I gotta admit that they are very good and it sounds pretty. Buy I just prefer Coleen Sexton and Andrea Rivette to Linda Eder and Christiane Noll. I know they were the originals but I honestly think Coleen Sexton's voice is was prettier and suits the role more than Linda Eder's voice does. Plus Colern puts more of the character's expression into her songs.

I think Christiane and Andrea are rated about the same on my scale because they sound the same.

I've seen many performance where both Emma and Lucy have been sopronos. What works well is the fact Lucy is an alto and Emma a soprono which makes their voices work really beautifully together.

NO ONE does this song like these two. No one. It's perfect. Duality of their voices which somehow does not hinder their blending. Christine's tone is so beautiful and just makes you want to sigh, and then Linda comes in and her velvet voce just mades your heart swell....Amazing.

very good video. I have to say that I've always preferred Noll. Such a beautiful and effortless voice. Linda Eder is great too but her technique isn't as good, though I enjoy her balls to the wall belting, especially for this role.

and linda eder sings VERY legit. otherwise she could not pull of such performances as Man of La Mancha (she sopranos a high G), and her 1988 star search performance.
