  • sencillamente MARACOS

  • wasnt there another protest against banning gay marrige today?

i really wish i could have made it.

    :(

    thanks for posting!!<3

  • thanks

  • does anyone know what the name of this song is?

  • I believe it is just called Proud.

  • Okay, I forgot to ask you a while ago, but how what's with the picture in 02:47...was he fully naked or something?

  • If I remember right, someone just yanked his shorts down. I guess it pays off to be in the right place at the right time...

  • I missed it. DARN!! Oh well, hopefully I'll make it for next year's pride parade

  • It was alot of fun. We had a great turn out and lots of support from the city in general.

  • this is not the real seattle

  • That was awesome, great job putting it all together, thank you!!!

  • Oh, absolutely! I enjoyed putting it together.

  • What a lovely film! What's the music, please?

  • Richard: It was a good time--nice and warm.

I got the song from the Queer as Folk season 1

Soundtrack. The name of the song is Proud and it is sung by Heather Small. I think it is a great song and can be applied to almost any situation.

  • Thanks Craig. The CD's winging its way to me now.

Music with still images gives a bit of space to think about the words while watching your video. I couldn't make Pride London this year, so I enjoyed the reminder of what it's all about.

  • BRAVO! I didn't get to go to Pride this year so thanks! Well done! :)

  • cjcher: It was a good time. Great weather as well, which doesn't happen all the time here.

  • Nice job!

  • Thanks!

  • This is wonderful - enjoyed the pictures and the music - missed you in Church - See you next week! Hugs CP

  • Craig: Glad we could share these pictures with you and Yup! We will see you on Sunday!

  • Happy Pride. Wow, NYC, Seattle, Chicago and San Francisco all choose the last Sunday of the month, I guess. Philadelphia's(where I live was earlier in the month, and not as impressive as yours). Very cool slide show.

    -David-

  • David: Ours really wasn't that impressive. We usually go to Portland, OR for their pride in mid June and THAT one is amazing. You wouldn't think it. Seattle's pride is fun, but they could do a whole lot more as a community.

  • It is wonderful...the pix of you boyz is great...love you big! Pastor Deb

  • Deb: We did have fun. One thing that surprised us was that there really weren't any big floats. I mean, what's a parade without floats? There were lots of free stuff though and I am all about the free stuff.

  • Excellent video! Thanks for sharing! :)

  • Janice: My pleasure :)

  • Aww, loved the pic of you and Shawn :) Now this was a colorful parade. Thanks for sharing it with us. The roses...spectacular.

  • Beth: That was at the beginnnig of the day when we were nice and cool. Once it hit 90, we didn't have quite as much energy. So Shawn ran through the fountain for about 15 minutes to cool off. He really is a kid at heart!

  • So HE'S the one we saw partial shots of because he was nekkid ;)

  • What a great picture of you and Shawn!

The photo at 1:48 is "wow" and the roses, very cool.

Good choice of photos and music.

  • Yoyomax: I have NO idea how someone could walk an entire parade route in that costume. And I agree, the roses are really astonishing.

  • Craig, great great montage. I love the music choice and those pics are great; really capture the spirit of the day. Looks like you had great weather for it, and those roses! how neat is that.

  • Susan: We had wonderful weather-about 90 degrees. I was refusing to get a sunburn so we went through an entire can of the spray on sunblock and it worked. I actually was able to not have to douse myself with aloe, which was a huge relief.

  • Lovely!

  • Leilani: Thanks!

  • Great pic of you and Shawn. Hi Shawn!

How do they do those roses at the end? Wow.

    Perfect song choice.

  • Dave: Shawn says hi!

I have no idea how they do the roses, but they really are beautiful. And the song is one of my all time favorites.

  • I enjoyed seeing this. Great job putting it all together!

  • Michael: I don't do slide shows that often so I thought it was about time. And it's fun to do :)

  • So proud to be, so loving of, brothers and sisters, friends and co-workers, living together in this world, sharing the message of love. Peace and love to you both!! Thanks for sharing!!

  • Eva: And peace and love to you as well!

  • This was so incredibly beautiful.

    Where's my box of tissues?

Thank you so very much for sharing this with us Craig. Hugs to you and Shawn. :0)

  • Joyce: Thanks. It really was a good day. The newspaper said we had about 400,000 people attend, though that may be stretching it abit.
