Thanks Craig. The CD's winging its way to me now.
Music with still images gives a bit of space to think about the words while watching your video. I couldn't make Pride London this year, so I enjoyed the reminder of what it's all about.
Happy Pride. Wow, NYC, Seattle, Chicago and San Francisco all choose the last Sunday of the month, I guess. Philadelphia's(where I live was earlier in the month, and not as impressive as yours). Very cool slide show.
David: Ours really wasn't that impressive. We usually go to Portland, OR for their pride in mid June and THAT one is amazing. You wouldn't think it. Seattle's pride is fun, but they could do a whole lot more as a community.
Deb: We did have fun. One thing that surprised us was that there really weren't any big floats. I mean, what's a parade without floats? There were lots of free stuff though and I am all about the free stuff.
Beth: That was at the beginnnig of the day when we were nice and cool. Once it hit 90, we didn't have quite as much energy. So Shawn ran through the fountain for about 15 minutes to cool off. He really is a kid at heart!
Craig, great great montage. I love the music choice and those pics are great; really capture the spirit of the day. Looks like you had great weather for it, and those roses! how neat is that.
Susan: We had wonderful weather-about 90 degrees. I was refusing to get a sunburn so we went through an entire can of the spray on sunblock and it worked. I actually was able to not have to douse myself with aloe, which was a huge relief.
So proud to be, so loving of, brothers and sisters, friends and co-workers, living together in this world, sharing the message of love. Peace and love to you both!! Thanks for sharing!!

Okay, I forgot to ask you a while ago, but how what's with the picture in 02:47...was he fully naked or something?
jusitke07 3 years ago
If I remember right, someone just yanked his shorts down. I guess it pays off to be in the right place at the right time...

I missed it. DARN!! Oh well, hopefully I'll make it for next year's pride parade

What a lovely film! What's the music, please?

Richard: It was a good time--nice and warm.
I got the song from the Queer as Folk season 1
Soundtrack. The name of the song is Proud and it is sung by Heather Small. I think it is a great song and can be applied to almost any situation.

What a great picture of you and Shawn!
The photo at 1:48 is "wow" and the roses, very cool.
Good choice of photos and music.

Yoyomax: I have NO idea how someone could walk an entire parade route in that costume. And I agree, the roses are really astonishing.
