used this machine a few tears ago on the pearl gtl project in Qatar, leaves a sound quality job, bottom tank course was 25mm thick handled it with ease, this machine is now widely used through out the middle east.
Uk tankbuilders would construct and weld a tank quicker than any machine .who backgrinds and welds the outside? this seems a good idea ,in reality it will never work !
The bottom course (6 courses tall) on the tank im building now is 1 1/4 inch thick. Good luck rolling that off a spool. if you rolled a sheet of 3/16 plate that tight , it would be ruined. Ever try to fit an over rolled wall sheet? ? i call bullshit. Were sub arcing floors roofs verts and horizontals already .Your machine looks like its rolling out tinfoil. if youve ever built a tank you know thats ridiculous.
@ustunenergy the highest bid is 1.2 million US so far from a company in russia and they want to view it in the spring, the machine has handled up to 1inch rolled coiled steel.
What the hell would u want to make that for. As if finding tank work isnt hard enough without some piece of crap machine taking more jobs away from us workers
my mate in Ruwais in the United Arab Emirates tells me they are using a new refined twin head system speed and quality is second to none.

@jenieragav well it has made 60foot high by 100foot diameter, but its limit was not tested to its full potential, so the limit is unknown.
