In December 2001 I fell 3 stories from a railroad bridge where I was working, with in the time I fell my whole life flashed before my eye's, these people fell 80+ stories and that is a long time going down, I can't tell you what was going through there minds, I know when I fell it was all in slow motion and your always trying to reach for something that is not there, I know I had missed my family in my thoughts... I don't know if this will help some of you that view this or not.. RIP Jumpers...

Those with a modicum of empathy can only try and place themselves in the victems shoes. The "what would I do" scenerio is a profound one. I venture to say that many had no choice. It is physically impossible to withstand that kind of heat without trying to get away, even if the alternative is a 105 plunge. The only comfort I can take away from this is knowing that they had a quick and painless death.

These poor people didn't have many choices.I believe they chose NOT to let their way or time of death be dictated by whomever caused this horrible situation. These brave souls chose to go out under their own terms. This wasn't suicide...it was an act of bravery and defiance. The jumpers of 9/11 are the bravest people I've ever seen.

God bless them all. I'm praying everyday for them to attain heaven and peace. They went through so much. I can't imagine the horror they went through...it is so heartbreaking that it's unconceivable to imagine that this actually happened. I feel so sad, the only thing I can do is pray for their souls, but I'm sure prayers will give them a lot of peace. They were truly the bravest, most honorable victims of that tragic day.
