As bad as FSU is this year, they'd still pound Notre Dame (loss to Navy?) and Oklahoma (loss to BYU?). Ohio State is too slow. They can't compete with anyone outside the Big-10, especially teams with the faster teams in the southeast. USC just got blown out in back to back weeks, but they're still the best of the group. FSU vs. USC may actually happen in the Emerald Bowl.

@killercason5 um uf was 16-2 before bowden against the noles and the series since bowden is split 18-18 including the 6 straight by meyer so you guys are not as dominant as you think. from 04 to 06 the games were competitive. that was before fisher was hired.when hired the program had coaching conflict and we were lackluster despite talent and uf took advantage and beat on us.so before you say uf has won more rivalry games look and see that the record is a reflection of your programs early exp.

I'm guessing you don't truly play it so you wouldn't understand. When a team is good and they are playing a team that is lesser than they, it is hard not to score regardless of what string you have in.

Thank you for proving yourself to be completely clueless. UF plays a standard 7 home game schedule. So does OSU, Michigan, Tennessee, LSU, and many others. But they couldn't do that with both FSU and scUM on the schedule. UF has about as much reason to be afraid of scUM as they do FSU, which is none at all. Hell, I wish we would drop FSU and replace them with scUM or maybe PSU or USC. At least those games would be a little more competitive. UF doesn't owe FSU or scUM jack shit.

Biggest reason that the defense has struggled has been lack of leadership. Mickey's head has been elsewhere for 2 seasons now, and Amato consistently oversteps his bounds. Missed assignments have been the killer, which has nothing to do with overall talent level and everything to do with leadership.
But maybe you're right. Maybe FSU has consistenly put all those players in the NFL (even during the down years) because pro teams were trying to load up with shitty players. Yeah, that's it...

As bad as FSU is this year, they'd still pound Notre Dame (loss to Navy?) and Oklahoma (loss to BYU?). Ohio State is too slow. They can't compete with anyone outside the Big-10, especially teams with the faster teams in the southeast. USC just got blown out in back to back weeks, but they're still the best of the group. FSU vs. USC may actually happen in the Emerald Bowl.
