@vicviper2345 I love the game regardless, but the thing thats got me is that the game was promoted differently between the two game consoles. They should've promoted the first 2 games for BOTH Xbox and PS, like they doing now with NG3 so that we can experience ALL of what the game has to offer.

no offense, but this isn't very good. you get hit a lot, have timing issues with your counters, and the battles are about twice as long as they could be. there are a lot of people out there who are a lot better than me at this game. that's what i'm looking for

@godzillakiller1 oh. Well I think I might have to agree on one condition. More blood, but Sigma has more bosses and shiz minus the blood. So I'd consider them equal. Unless you hate fighting a shitload of bosses due to there being a lot anyways then the one on 360 is better. But...at least they don't die as slowly as volf does. God what an overexaggerated death!
@Al0cht00n well on the first playthrough I got the indomitable spirit achievement...sadly, but after that I was so fucking close to going through the whole thing without dying once and that stupid Armadillo fiend killed me and I was like THAT"S PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST EASIEST BOSSES EVER AND I DIED ON IT!!! NOOOOOOO!! but I got over it and killed him...etc. but it's not that hard on path of the acolyte. Now...Warrior is slightly harder, and the others haven't gotten there yet.
@gunblazingmutant hehe yeah got that on my first playthrough aswell, and yeah, never played acolyte, but the leap in difficulty from warrior to mentor is quite big already, and am currently on my MN playthrough and its insane. good luck with it tho!

@godzillakiller1 you couldn't do that with telikenesis. Just push down on him and, hold him with. He can't move, and can possibly be crushed. Plus you can break his bones without physically touching him. Which makes it very enthralling. Plus you can just pick something up with telekinesis. But the black hole thing is awesome.

I'll take the NGSII over NG II any day, better graphics, better gameplay (less projectile spamming) but the bad thing is they kinda nerfed the bossess.
Also NGS is almost perfect if it wasn't for the FORCED rachel characther.
the probleme with this game is the difficulte master ninja mode is this is WAYYYYY cheaper then on ng2 sure they throw alot of shurikens but in this one, just one weak ass grab half of your health is gone and the guy that makes the review of this game on gametrailers is stupid cuz he said that this game is easier then the original, one more thing the upgrade is whack you can only upgrade one sword per chapter

@Dracomancer350 Gameplaywise, I'd say this. However, they censored the blood an gore to, um... "make it more artistic" or something. Bullshit. They said the violence isn't what the game was about, which makes no sense in an M rated action game playing as one of the most merciless warriors in history.

Yeah, I'd have picked this up in a heartbeat if the gore hadn't been grossly tonred down. Such a shame, the graphics look so much more crisp and polished in Sigma 2. All that bloody gorefestive goodness would've looked amazing.
@marinex1212 This is Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 because the white costume in this video isn't in NG2 and the enemies have purple mist come out where Ryu chops their limbs off.

the xbox360 version IS brutal,you can cut head arms and torsos off with much blood.and the bodyparts lay on the ground,the ps 3 version is harmless.i love my xbox360 version!
almost all the gore has been removed. Purple mist now burst from enemies, along with reduced blood splashes. Dismembered body parts no longer stay on the ground, but vanish. Additionally, cinematics have been altered to remove dismemberment, dissection, and blood effects. The Asian version of NGS2, the player can only decapitate monsters and non-humans. This is due to their compliance with CERO's guidelines

When he charges his weapon when you hold strong attack ( triangle). Wind path is when you move when your blocking, don't ever let go of block when you wind path in master ninja e.e
The PS3 don't let you play your own music with games. Only the 360 does that. I'd also love to be able to have multiple profiles at one time in offline multiplayer, especially Tekken 6 and Modern Warfare 2. I don't know if you can transfer your profile to another system though. The 360 does all of these, but the PS3 does have some of the best exclusives.
Does any one know what the trophies mean by master the path of the ninja. Like for the difficulties. I beat warrior but I did not "Master it". What does it mean?

@Dracomancer350 Gameplaywise, I'd say this. However, they censored the blood an gore to, um... "make it more artistic" or something. Bullshit. They said the violence isn't what the game was about, which makes no sense in an M rated action game playing as one of the most merciless warriors in history.

Awesome.I have Sigma one and it rocks.This one is amazing too and i dont mind the toned down gore.Not to bash the 360 but sigma 2 is bettter than the original due to the small improvances the ps3 one has.And the 3 hot playable chicks ; - )

im gona sell my 360 and pick up a PS3 what i was dissapointed of in this game is that there isnt as much blood as in the original version(ninja gaiden 2 on 360)

Yeah, I'd have picked this up in a heartbeat if the gore hadn't been grossly tonred down. Such a shame, the graphics look so much more crisp and polished in Sigma 2. All that bloody gorefestive goodness would've looked amazing.

@marinex1212 This is Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 because the white costume in this video isn't in NG2 and the enemies have purple mist come out where Ryu chops their limbs off.

@Knightmon99 That would be cool, but logically, he is owned by Team Ninja and not Namco. He is in Dead or Alive, but not weapon combat. You'll notice quite a few moves based off the fighting game.

the xbox360 version IS brutal,you can cut head arms and torsos off with much blood.and the bodyparts lay on the ground,the ps 3 version is harmless.i love my xbox360 version!

almost all the gore has been removed. Purple mist now burst from enemies, along with reduced blood splashes. Dismembered body parts no longer stay on the ground, but vanish. Additionally, cinematics have been altered to remove dismemberment, dissection, and blood effects. The Asian version of NGS2, the player can only decapitate monsters and non-humans. This is due to their compliance with CERO's guidelines

im not saying i hate ps3 because i don't hate it just doesn't have games i like. and all the multi format ones id rather just get for xbox
playstation just doesnt own the market any more ppl buy wi games and xbox games these days and with pcs getting much easyer to afford and the graphics being far better than all three consoles many prefer them also and pc has everything you need mods internet online play

When he charges his weapon when you hold strong attack ( triangle). Wind path is when you move when your blocking, don't ever let go of block when you wind path in master ninja e.e

The PS3 don't let you play your own music with games. Only the 360 does that. I'd also love to be able to have multiple profiles at one time in offline multiplayer, especially Tekken 6 and Modern Warfare 2. I don't know if you can transfer your profile to another system though. The 360 does all of these, but the PS3 does have some of the best exclusives.

The Sigma series is a remake of each game. You do have infinite ammo in this one though (arrows, gun, etc.).
