I have a 2001 camry (silver) with all black emblems the new camry emblem solid black grill new clear headlights with 10000k hid, hid dome light on the inside and 2 12" kickers with custom box and i also have a musical horn/PA system. i suggest you leave it how it is dont add to much i did have a short ram intake on it but after a while my check engine light came on im not sure why though lol so try to keep the motor stock the camry isnt really a car to (tune) lol cool vids

The 98 doesn't really have any of the aftermarket lights you can buy, only the gen 4.5 (2000-2001). The only ones I've seen are the clear corner lights, but that's it.

don't do it. Those lights can only be turned on when you are not drive.Sometimes can't even be seen by cops. Because they are ilegal if you have them on while ur driving. It distract other drivers' attention..but great work though..

They're from the brand Pilot, and you can find them at Autozone or Discount Auto. They both sell these lights.

They have a lot of things on their website (not sure what that is). Also, Redline makes lights of this sort.

The last time I checked, they only make halo headlamps for the gen 4.5 (2000-2001), and not the regular gen 4 camry (97-99). I think they make clear corner lights and aftermarket tail lights though.

I sometimes have put the steady glow when driving down the road, and the moving lights when stopped.

And sad to say, blue and red are the colors cops want you to not have...I'm not one to mess with the law anymore, so 1) I like green, 2) I comply with the law as much as I can.

The door hinges were $1700 installed (though next time I might go elsewhere to get them done).

cosmetic: altezza tail lights ~$70 for the four on ebay (not sure what generation yours is, but if it's a 4th, you can get more light options). Underbody kit ~$50 or more. Window tint: $100-150, various LED lights perhaps (that's what I did with mine). Perhaps some vinyls (prices range).

You could also do some nice rims (maybe 18s), carbon hood maybe, some windshield wipers that match the color of your car maybe.

Lambo doors are also an option (at least 65 degrees).

Yeah it's a work in progress. It's Florida though, so I'm thinking of a lighter color and perhaps a semi-clear white over the carbon.

We'll see what the budget allows for in the future, or if I sell it to get a new project car.

Is it the halo light you're not sure how to connect? If so, you can decide to what you want to connect it to. One wire is the hot wire (+) the other is the ground (-).

I personally connected the hot wire to the corner lamps (you may need an extra wire to connect it all, so the wires aren't stretched out). and you can ground it anywhere attaching it to the car body.

for my neons since i always showed them off and had my doors open i jus clippd those buttons inside the door that turns on the dome light, if i was u id do that or jus remove the bulb in the dome light so u wont have that light on all the time...? but great job!

A couple of things prompted me to do the lights first.

One: I'm not ready to turn it fully into a show car, so no need for sound (already have speakers and the like, I'm fine there)

Two: lights were much less expensive than a real sound system.

I did, until I got some single sided 'weather stripping' from autozone. I put it on the frame of where the door goes on the car and it's reduced a lot. I won't say it's 100% "back to normal" (the noise), but it's not bad.

I'm still trying to figure out how to fully cancel the noise. If you find out, let me know please.

I don't think they are. Every state is different, but in Florida, they're good. They're bright, but they aren't illegally bright (or blindingly bright).

The Halos I got are DOT/SAE approved, and HID's are the same...I just joined the two without projector covers (the rounded part).

It's easy.

Take the hoses off the current ones. Then unscrew the nut attaching them to the hood. Put the new ones on (it should have an installation diagram), and put the tubes back on.

Then connect the wires to whatever application you want...personally, I did it to a switch inside my dash, so I can control when they're on/off.

White wire's hot (if you run it from the battery, it'll stay on forever). Black wire's ground (you can attach this to anywhere on the car that has a screw).
