I was disappointed with the movie. Probably because I'm obessed wih the books though. I spent half my time wail watching the movie yelling "THAT'S NOT HOW IT HAPPENED!" or "Come on!"....The books were so much better though. Not saying the movie was bad, but the vampaneze should have had purple skin, red hair, red nails, and red eyes. THAT'S THE WAY IT WAS MENT TO BE DAMNIT!

My view on this is the same for explicit cds. if someone is offended by the swearing, the why the fuck are they listening to the cd? more often than not its the MESSAGE that gets people in trouble. likewise, the blood an gore was a tool used to make the book more grim and bleak. to be honest its one the the darkest series that i can ever rememeber reading and that says alot, especially considering the fact that i tend to read est. 1200-1800 pages a day, given i have nothing to do which is often.
