Just take care of the rythm. Your first pulloff is too fast. And aslo at the lengh of the notes, and a they volume. I know the rythm of that riff is hard, but try to practise slowly with a metronome (Or something like that).

You should get a 7 string and play the song. I didn't have the money for a UV, so I bought an RG7620 (next best thing) and I have no problems playing this song.

The clean part sounds good on the Tele, but I just use position 2 of the 5-way switch. I use an Dimarzio Evolution 7 bridge and Blaze neck.

I've seen your videos, you've a squier; that's a guitar for beginners, so the neck

is thinner than stratocaster. The neck of my american standard is a lot thicker

than a ibanez neck, believe me :)

@LeoKotzen92 i have played plenty of tele's on the other hand and their necks are usually pretty thin (as a general statement, because there are many that modified, for instance my strat's neck) but the majority of gibson sg's and jackson's i've played have very wide necks. it's all about the model really. but the standard fender's usually have thinner necks.

Yes, you're right, gibsons have probably the thickest neck, expecially les pauls

Ibanez usually have thinner necks than other brands, expecially prestiges or jem, js (you know: wizard neck) Also some prs have a very thin neck. I think that fenders stays in the middle, but when is a vintage model, the neck is a lot thicker!

For example, the tele in this video seems to be a 52 reissue (by the colour); i've played it and the neck is enormous and so hard! :)

Yeah!! You've got a tele!! Fenders are great guitars, don't listen to people who says that are boring and not for rock or metal, I have a standard strat with 010 strings and I play anything on it, from country to racer X :), is not the output of the pickups or the thinless and comfort of the of the neck, only the hand matters :)

Why don't you play some Kotzen with your tele? do you like richie?

totally agree with you. I have a Fender Fat Stratocaster and a Les Paul, and actually I think the Fender is better to play rock with. Both guitars are awesome but i prefer the Fender! :)
