  • Это Великая Невероятность из всего существующего невероятного в Музыке,-это вечный двигатель,который до сих пор ищут и не видят перед своими Ушами !!!!

  • OMFG!!!!! That's pure genius!!!!!!!

  • this is really GENIUS piano writing here...

  • @fisherroastedpeanut ME TOO. I believe I already gave you my email.....

  • sounds like a wasp

  • Definitely heard an 11/16 bar near the end there; unmistakable!

  • I'm absolutely flabbergasted by this piece and its interpretation!

5 stars for Kapustin for this great idea as well as for Hamelin's interpretation!!

  • sagara89, just try to play, everything is possible,if you really want..

  • wow.. maybe someone have got the score of this?

  • I sooo want to play this, or at least one his op40 etudes. Why'd they have to be so hard =/

  • I'm afraid to tell you this, but sometimes, life is just unfair :3

  • If you want to learn one of his etudes I recommend no. 6. It is still super difficult, but I think it's the least difficult of the etudes. Really fun piece.

  • lol yeah no. 6 is awesome. I actually found this etude easier than no.6 when I sat down and played through it lol. I guess it pays sometimes to have fat fingers :p

  • @SiriusClock If you're talking about the Op. 40 concert etudes, I disagree - I find 6 the hardest! 8 has to be the easiest. :)

  • @flamingspinach Really? You think 8 is the easiest? Idk about that what? 208 tempo :P. I haven't spend enough time on the piece but from what I've played it seems more difficult to me than 6.

  • @SiriusClock I feel like 6 has some serious stumbling blocks in it (at least for me) - large jumps, awkward reaches, etc., plus the tempo is fast. 8 is even faster, sure, but there are no really awkward parts, so I imagine if I sat down and polished it I could get it up to speed, whereas 6 just tests the limits of my manual dexterity... I guess what I'm saying is that 8 "fits under the hand" more easily (or at least my hand).

  • @flamingspinach Interesting. I guess I can understand that. It seems then that my feelings toward 6 are just related to how I play compared to you.

  • i love kapustins sense of humor.

  • I was proved by this that dissonance can be wonderful!

  • Dissonance, who ever thought it could be beautiful?

  • A friend of mine was telling me how much pain and anguish he found in the minor second. So I made him listen to this Etude! So much humor in the minor second after all! I guess it depends of the context...

  • wow.. unfortunately beyond my capability..

  • love it thanx :PP
