Bless you sister, what a beautiful testimony. The way you describe God's outpouring of peace and love is exactly how I felt when I gave my life and confessed my sins to Him. I felt such perfect peace, and such a beautiful presence surrounding me with His love! It was a life-changing conversion experience. what did God do on this special occasion? I met God when I was 23, after being Christian for 23 years. And when I say I MET GOD, I mean it literally. I did not imagine it or hallucinate or pretend it in my head. I saw Him in person and we did amazing things. I am now one of His few witnesses on this earth. When you prayed at 14 and got that feeling of love and euphoria, you did that yourself. Your brain released endorphins and made you feel really good. You can do this at any time with meditation.
If you think that there is a God up there watching, tell me why he would let you live for 14 years in a dangerous situation with psychopathic parents. @OccamKant Hi there. I did not manifest in my mind the presence of God. I could not or would not be able to mimic that experience, not even in the slightest. If you were to "meet" God, and be in His presence, you would know without a doubt exactly what happened to you -even though it is difficult to explain or share in human terms. @OccamKant People have free will and know right from wrong. If we didn't have free will, God could control all of us like little robots or his puppets. He has given us the gift to choose our own path - believe or not believe. Some people choose evil over good and there are consequences for their actions. And, I was raped when I was 17, a virgin, but I do not blame God for it. I am ok and trust in Him and when other humans were around and knew and did nothing - I had the love & support from God.

I am not God though but I do believe that God can shine through people when people are bold & caring enough to help others. Our time on earth is so short. @OccamKant I understand your point of view. But, God did give us an example to live by and to follow, the life of Jesus. If God intervened in such a way that we could see Him and he kept us protected from every painful experience, what would our purpose be here? If He were to stop every wrong thing from happening, and He controlled each person and each action, we would not have free will or choices.

Apparently God wants us all to suffer either at the hands of others, or at the whims of nature (earthquakes, tsunamis, etc). Now imagine that in the last few years of his life, he has an honest conversion. He repents and takes Jesus into his heart.
From my understanding of your dogma, he is now "saved" and will go straight to heaven, no punishment. No?
@OccamKant No, you don't know God so you don't know his judgment. If you knew the father you would know that for the believers judgment they lose rewards in heaven for doing evil in stead of good. Second, if they have been saved, they come to an agreement with God and feel the pain of the person they hurt. Sometimes that regret is so much that it can eat away at an unbeliever to the point that they never heal on earth, as a result some could turn to suicide. But yes God has forgiven them.

God does mean more to me than anything else on this earth. Everything is temporary here but God is eternal. I believe in Him 100% and that had nothing to do with a church upbringing or outside influence. I had no one and God came to me that day on Jan. 1st of 97. please pray for my brother. He is 17 years old and he got diagnosed with Giantism. He goes in to surgery in two weeks because he has a tumor on his pituitary gland as well as other things wrong. He feels like no one cares for him as well as he doesn't know about God as much. He believes that Mormonism is his thing because of an ex girlfriend. Please pray that he has complete healing as well as comes to Christ.
He still lives at home but there my parents are borderline Atheists so he doesn't have the encouragement. All they do is talk him down and it makes it harder on him. With the surgeries he as to undergo it will take him one year to complete all of the surgeries he has. please just pray that everything goes all right as well as bring him closer to Christ as well as my parents. When God really shows up all you an do is feel his love. The other night I was watching a video here on youtube and as soon as the prophet said to a lady "your name is in the book of life" I broke down crying. I just felt completely overwhelmed by God's love and it surprised me too. But he loves our tears of joy. Those are our most sincere and powerful prayers.

Pablokolter - Right after I began to Read the Bible and learn of God's Word - I prayed for the first time in my life - that day was Jan. 1st of 1997 like I said in the video. I was never in a "religion" like I said, was not brought up in anything like that. Jesus did forgive me of my sins and I am a Christian.
We had better leave the blessings to Jesus. It is written, "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it" (John 14:13-14).

Consider this. The truth is Zeus, and the Gods of Olympus hold dominion over the elements of the earth, and that there is evil in the world becuase of Hades.
I do not find pleasure in "mocking religion". I find it most displeasing to see adults in 2010 still believing in medieval superstition. It is time for the modern world to dump the old joke of religion.
There is no giant sugar daddy in the sky, nor a magic jewish telepathic zombie. If anything Jesus is a sin, and you hould repent.
You see, I've met Jesus, and he has healed people through me. In reality, Jesus isn't about religion or who you are now, its about who your willing to become. If you met Jesus today, would you listen to Him? You have two options my friend, either be sick of your sin and repent. Or convince yourself one more time "there is no God" and writhe in your sin. You have so many things eating you up inside that you don't allow anyone to see. You want to live with that? Jesus can free you!

i had a dream that it was the yr 2012 and the world was being showered in meteors and i died, and in my spirit state i saw jesus standing beside adam (of adam and eve) taking souls and when jesus looked at me he just smiled and in my dream i came back to life. someone plz interpret what this could mean. thnx

I know exactly what you're saying. I did the same thing, I prayed and asked for forgiveness and to be shown the way and I have been. God is apart of my life everyday, I'm always learning and thinking about him and the day I meet him. I've had some crazy things happen to me that i'm 110% sure it's God or a angel from God. Bless you sister, what a beautiful testimony. The way you describe God's outpouring of peace and love is exactly how I felt when I gave my life and confessed my sins to Him. I felt such perfect peace, and such a beautiful presence surrounding me with His love! It was a life-changing conversion experience. It takes far more imagination to believe that ridiculous propaganda than it does to look around this miraculous world and believe that it stemmed from a Creator. ive done many things in many THINGS IN my LIFE I WAS A PORN ADDICT i smoked and drank alot and im only 13 but on friday afternoon i went to a christian camp and had a pastor pray for me and as he was praying i felt jesus over me and people said that day my awsome were kinda bright(glowing) and i was saved again that day and this gives me another reason to believe thank you :)

what did God do on this special occasion? I met God when I was 23, after being Christian for 23 years. And when I say I MET GOD, I mean it literally. I did not imagine it or hallucinate or pretend it in my head. I saw Him in person and we did amazing things. I am now one of His few witnesses on this earth. When you prayed at 14 and got that feeling of love and euphoria, you did that yourself. Your brain released endorphins and made you feel really good. You can do this at any time with meditation.
If you think that there is a God up there watching, tell me why he would let you live for 14 years in a dangerous situation with psychopathic parents. Any normal person who knew you were in that situation would have done something to get you out of it, but you believe God knew and did nothing? Really?

@OccamKant Hi there. I did not manifest in my mind the presence of God. I could not or would not be able to mimic that experience, not even in the slightest. If you were to "meet" God, and be in His presence, you would know without a doubt exactly what happened to you -even though it is difficult to explain or share in human terms. And about my childhood - I do believe God allows us to experience hardship and trials to learn from them, grow and become closer to Him & help us to help others.

@OccamKant People have free will and know right from wrong. If we didn't have free will, God could control all of us like little robots or his puppets. He has given us the gift to choose our own path - believe or not believe. Some people choose evil over good and there are consequences for their actions. And, I was raped when I was 17, a virgin, but I do not blame God for it. I am ok and trust in Him and when other humans were around and knew and did nothing - I had the love & support from God.

@OccamKant YES I would. And a lot of people say they would but when you hear the news you see that so often people do not stop to help others when hurt. I am not God though but I do believe that God can shine through people when people are bold & caring enough to help others. Our time on earth is so short. I'm sure we will understand why our struggles and trials & pain occurred when our time here is up. I appreciate it all because it has taught me so much & given me compassion for others.

@OccamKant I understand your point of view. But, God did give us an example to live by and to follow, the life of Jesus. If God intervened in such a way that we could see Him and he kept us protected from every painful experience, what would our purpose be here? If He were to stop every wrong thing from happening, and He controlled each person and each action, we would not have free will or choices.

Apparently God wants us all to suffer either at the hands of others, or at the whims of nature (earthquakes, tsunamis, etc). Who are you to help people when the all knowing god you say you worship lets everyone suffer the natural consequences of whatever situation they're in? What possible circumstance could it be "good for" a rape victim to experience rape?

@OccamKant And, in my experiences, we don't know always what actions God has taken on our behalf. I've had quite a few close calls with death - from the childhood, from working in Iraq when my friend was killed, 3 weeks ago I was poisoned from carbon monoxide in my home.

And children still died, even if their parents deserved it, the children did not. Killing children is reprehensible, ESPECIALLY if it's just to get at their parents.

@OccamKant No, you don't know God so you don't know his judgment. If you knew the father you would know that for the believers judgment they lose rewards in heaven for doing evil in stead of good. Second, if they have been saved, they come to an agreement with God and feel the pain of the person they hurt. Sometimes that regret is so much that it can eat away at an unbeliever to the point that they never heal on earth, as a result some could turn to suicide. But yes God has forgiven them.

I want to write a lot, but id say to study the book of habakkuk, which asks this same question (theres rarely any situation that you cant relate to the bible..), and I pray the holyspirit will help you understand what its saying. Its better you read it for yourself because my explanation might not do justice... and any more questions that you have after that, you might know when you kick the bucket.

I love how you were able to come to God eve though you had exerience in witchcraft, it gives me hope. I have a dear friend, a Wiccan, and I've been so concerned about how to gently lead her to the Truth. Your testimony shows that it's possibe, with God's help

btw how can the best day of your life be when u prayed for the 1st time? Like WTF the best day of everyones life should be when u met your greatest love of your life or got kids, at least thats what i think.

God does mean more to me than anything else on this earth. Everything is temporary here but God is eternal. I believe in Him 100% and that had nothing to do with a church upbringing or outside influence. I had no one and God came to me that day on Jan. 1st of 97. You can laugh at me, my story and my beliefs and all others who know the Truth but when you stand before God after leaving this Earth - you will know 100% the Truth. please pray for my brother. He is 17 years old and he got diagnosed with Giantism. He goes in to surgery in two weeks because he has a tumor on his pituitary gland as well as other things wrong. He feels like no one cares for him as well as he doesn't know about God as much. He believes that Mormonism is his thing because of an ex girlfriend. Please pray that he has complete healing as well as comes to Christ.

He still lives at home but there my parents are borderline Atheists so he doesn't have the encouragement. All they do is talk him down and it makes it harder on him. With the surgeries he as to undergo it will take him one year to complete all of the surgeries he has. please just pray that everything goes all right as well as bring him closer to Christ as well as my parents. thank you beautiful. i know that feeling, i have experienced a very similar life full of pain from my parents.. and i have also experienced that great love and peace from God. It was the most amazing feeling I have ever felt, so peaceful and so loving, I felt so comforted and loved and accepted by Jesus. It was like i was in paradise for a moment.. I'm so glad that you also got to experience that feeling. i wish everyone could! He is truely amazing. I think you are too.

When God really shows up all you an do is feel his love. The other night I was watching a video here on youtube and as soon as the prophet said to a lady "your name is in the book of life" I broke down crying. I just felt completely overwhelmed by God's love and it surprised me too. But he loves our tears of joy. Those are our most sincere and powerful prayers.

That makes no sense, how were you a Christian if you've never met Jesus nor heard His word. America has such a warped view on Christianity that we have people saying they are or were Christians and they never wanted throw their sin away, thus never hearing the voice of their father. Lemme guess, "do you want to go to heaven?... well pray this prayer and Jesus will come into your heart." My friend you were never a Christian, u were in a religion.

Pablokolter - Right after I began to Read the Bible and learn of God's Word - I prayed for the first time in my life - that day was Jan. 1st of 1997 like I said in the video. I was never in a "religion" like I said, was not brought up in anything like that. Jesus did forgive me of my sins and I am a Christian.

I feel sorry for you ma'am. Religion is a social disease, that will mold your thought into a set pattern, making you intolerant and simple minded.
Evolution, cosmology, and abiogenesis = No christian God.
Think about it - infinite punishment for finite crime, God sets time to be at a set rate yet time isn't at a set rate, etc.

Consider this. The truth is Zeus, and the Gods of Olympus hold dominion over the elements of the earth, and that there is evil in the world becuase of Hades.
I do not find pleasure in "mocking religion". I find it most displeasing to see adults in 2010 still believing in medieval superstition. It is time for the modern world to dump the old joke of religion.

You see, I've met Jesus, and he has healed people through me. In reality, Jesus isn't about religion or who you are now, its about who your willing to become. If you met Jesus today, would you listen to Him? You have two options my friend, either be sick of your sin and repent. Or convince yourself one more time "there is no God" and writhe in your sin.
