  • British Bulldog needs to be put in the Hall of Fame when WWE brings Wrestlemania to London, England..... He was one of the best to come from this island....... and WWE when are you going to release a 3 Disc boxset of the british bulldog??

  • pete rose and drew carey aint wrestlers so bit odd those 2 in hof but not british bulldog

  • From Leigh...

  • It's sad to see all the wrestlers that I grew up with die.

  • I was seriously heartbroken when I heard this. Davey Boy was one of my heroes as a kid. I remember watching the night the Islanders kidnapped Matilda and when him and Bret wrestled at Summerslam.

Its a crock of shit that Drew Carey and Pete Rose have slots in the Hall of Fame that should have went to Davey Boy and Rick Rude.

  • RIP Bulldog. Its tragic to see so many of the former stars who entertained me as a kid have passed away at young ages!!!!

  • I call it bullshit that years later, the WWE barely used DH Smith!!! Sure, he won the tag titles, but what happens next? Future Endevaored?? He's more talented than a large portion of the roster!

  • @RandomMindz I know in the future DH Smith will return to the WWE, but i bet he'll be much bigger in size.... DH is doing some work internationally and is currently in japan i think.

  • Thumbs up if you want him in the 2012 or 2013 WWE Hall of Fame.

  • arguably the most underrated and under appreciated wwf wrestler of all time.

  • ...THIS WAS MY DUDE. FOR REAL. ONE OF THE BEST EVER.

  • please god bring us back davey boy smith the british bulldog and owen hart and brian pillman in return u can have justin bieber miz vickie guerrero !!!!

  • @AndrewsOpinion15 why miz u should say michael cole

  • British Bulldog and Owen Hart for the Hall of Fame!!!

  • @ksjohal damn right

  • Rest in peace.

  • all Bam Bam got was a still image before Raw when he died :( Vince should have done a video for him too.

  • @lordcrumb07 they put him on SVR 2007 to

  • One word. Legend

  • I agree his was a legend but sad to say he won't make the HOF there are some many other legends bigger than bulldog who aren't in it

  • we all miss u davey boy and will always be in our hearts for years to come...........WWE Hall of Fame 2011 definetley.........RIP "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith.........True Legend

  • RIP Bulldog, truly a dying breed.

How come everyone I looked up to as a kid is dead now?

  • At least in these days Vince had the decency to not only do a graphic but voice-over the tributes himself. Yoko and Davey weren't even with the company at the time they passed

  • This is why the Hart Family is fucked up!

  • British Bulldog for WWE HOF 2011!!!

  • I watched the brittish Bulldog beat Brett hart at wembley in 1992, for the intercontinental belt , I will never ever forget that day, RIP Davey Smith gone but never ever forgotten

  • 39, damn that was young. R.I.P

Would have loved to see Bulldog vs Sheamus if he were still around.

  • r.i.p bulldog LEGEND

  • A true classic and sure to be hall of famer. R.I.P Bulldog, the man who made the powerslam look easy. =]

  • R.I.P Davey Boy, you are also a fantastic role-model. Thumbs up every one for the one and only British Bulldog!!!

  • nice video!!!!

  • I miss the days like this, before WWE went corporate and did everything in their power to distance themselves from the deaths of their former workers. You didn't see a tribute like this when Test kicked off, did you?

  • @VonCouch Test never really accomplished anything. He wore few titles, his mic skills were atrocious and his ring work was hampered by his sheer bulk - most of which was not natural. The best thing one can say about him is that he knew how to get laid and bagged some hot WWE "divas". He may have been a nice guy, but that doesn't make him a good wrestler or entertainer.

  • @stevedrums He didn't do as much, certainly not. But he was still a dedicated employee for the company for many years and deserved at least a mention.

  • @VonCouch That's true. They could have mentioned it.

  • @stevedrums

    And Umaga?

  • this guy is the only guy u could play rule brittiana wiv an us brits stand up in respect PUT HIM IN THE HALL OF FAME

  • dont take roids

  • HE DIED AT 39?? WTF??? i dont mean to offend but WTF WAS HE ON?? 39? thats not even half a lifetime..

  • @Th3Best0ne Well, the coroner attributed his death to 'past use of steroids', not to mention seizing paraphenelia and quantities of them when the autopsy was performed.

  • @dharmaseed Not to mention painkillers, he took a lot of painkillers after his back was hit on a trap door used by the Warrior in WCW back in 1998.

  • GROWING UP A BULLDOG FAN, I CANT WATCH THIS WITHOUT CRYING, MAN, WHY DO THEY HAVE TO GO, MONSOON, BULLDOG, EDDIE!

  • why owen hart and davey boy not induct in hall of fame

  • why owen hart and davey boy not induct in hall of fame

  • British bulldog made me proud to be from this country when i was younger.

  • Davey a LEGEND! One of the best wrestler! Dinamic, powerfull and interesting! R.I.P Bulldog!

  • induct him for Hall of Fame class of 2011 pls

  • david will be just as big as his dad once he gets a push

  • This man, Bam Bam Bigelow, Big Bossman, Owen Hart and many other greats who have died at a young age should be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

  • @LinSauschuck11 Owen Hart would but his wife is a b**** and is mad at WWE. WWE wants to induct Owen in the HOF, but Martha won't allow it.

  • the only wrestler who has a combination of power and speed...

  • One of the true LEGENDS of the WWF and my childhood. Rest in Peace British Bulldog!

  • crazy to see in son in the wwe these days, not as good as his old man but is very talented

  • Bulldog was a great worker. He was a perfect combination of power and technic. A great technical wrestler who was very fast and agil in the ring.

  • Still cant believe Davey is gone...Amazing wrestler and a hero to me as kid. Will never forget him.

  • Dang..why are wrestlers seeing god so early?

  • Best look in wrestling history for me

  • @cpthurme Ditto!

  • I was there live for this video tribute and had arrived at the venue not knowing about this because I had no time to check the Internet before the several hours drive. So it was rather hard to concentrate on the show after finding out about this live.

Definitely not the best way to find out.

  • A TRUE CHAMPION...R.I.P..Davey Boy Smith..you will be missed..

  • Why doesn't Vince do these kind of tributes now? Now we get a graphic at the start of RAW if were lucky. Shame.

  • @theuniquemusic Vince can be a real prick at times. I agree that all should get a tribute. What he did to Hercules is pure bullshit and I will never forget it.

  • This is a video I simply have to watch several times a year.

Bulldog made me so proud to be british when I was a kid.

Thanks to Vince for creating one of the best monologues ever.

  • If Davey Boy Smith was still alive,he'd be my dad's age.

  • Comment removed

  • Is it just me or this music the most heartbreaking song you ever heard? I think this music is the most upsetting. Am I alone?

  • @underpathunderpath

    No your not alone there.

This tribute video always get's me.

  • @ExtremeBogom Gorilla Monsoons is a tough watch as well

  • so david hart smith is half british and half american

  • half british half canadian. The Harts are canadian

  • C'mon WWE ! Gimme a damn British Bulldog DVD already ! If Brian Pillman can get one, why can't Davey Boy Smith.

  • @Sledge070685

    TO FUCKING RIGHT!

  • @Sledge070685 yes they should. but it should only be done for bulldog fans and not for the money.

  • @Sledge070685 i agree but lets not over shadow either career. They both deserve their dvds and hall of fame spots.

  • @Sledge070685 You know something, as bulldog would say, id like to see that DVD. The guy was a legend in england and we would like to see some sort of retrospective of his career.

  • @Sledge070685 And Pillman was supposedly a very racist SOB.

  • you wanna know why he died so early :(

steroids :( went you take steroids your our expected to only life till about 40ish :(

  • @BKsMassive He did ALOT more than steroids

  • DYNAMITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The real Bulldog!!!

Tommy actually deserves to be in the HOF, Davey was always a tag along.

Best technical wrestler EVER: Tommy "Dynamite Kid" Billington!!!

    FACT!

  • His son now wrestles in WWE

  • manchester's own, we love you davey, RIP

  • Manchester? MANCHESTER? Try Wigan, son.

  • he was born in greater manchester pal

  • @04h239 he's from golborne, lancashire

  • it's a fucking disgrace he isn't in the HOF

  • Get this man in the Hall of Fame!

  • @ZhouTai84 amen to that

  • Great Wrestler

    R.I.P My Bro(too Owen Hart u___u)

  • One of the all time greats back in the days when pro wrestling WAS pro wrestling, not this soap opera entertainment shit like nowadays. An absolute legend. RIP Bulldog.

  • RIP Davey Smith alwayz loved and never forgotten

  • RIP davey

  • Yes... That is the video I was looking for... Real, WWE tribute to Davey Boy Smith... RIP :(

Thanks for that vid man... :)

  • one of the best it sucks all the wrestlers that i grew up wrestling havin been passing away so young may the all Rest In Peace

  • There is a reason many wrestlers don't make it past 50...

  • i know but its still a shame

  • didnt evem know he died, i use to watch wrestling in the 80's/ early 90's and e was one of the good ones, i will aways remember a royal rumble around, 1991ish, when all the best guys threw out all the shit guys, then they just went loco on eachother lol. rip man...

  • RIP Davey boy,

wwe give hart dynasty a title run

  • RIP Bulldog :(

  • RIP Bulldog! British pride!

  • with all respects the british bulldog was a great wrestler but why have his son be bad for especially the hart foundations and stuff they were great its to bad that the hart dynasty aint noticable i mean they are great it would be better if they had better story lines wouldnt it ?

  • Indeed, theres so much potential in the Hart Dynasty. Tyson's a fantastic aerial ace, and Harry's the muscle, both technical. Give them a chance.

  • @ZhouTai84 They're both great wrestlers, but terrible on the mic.

  • @Lewis1711 Can you smeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll what STFU is cookin'?

  • @TraumaER ah give it a rest. I'm a fan of the hart dynasty they are one of the few wrestlers on raw that can actually wrestle.

They need to work on their mich skills though. Fact.

  • @Lewis1711 agree; they need to put some long pants on harry because he looks weird the way he does; they should just dress him up like his father did back in the day

  • @ZhouTai84 The Hart Dynasty suck. They maybe okay wrestlers. But nobody cares about them because they have no character .

  • Anyone else notice that his son is a wrestler now? He's in that crappy Hart dynasty thing.

I think its a shame how they make a tag team with potential like that and are hardly noticed. They are the new generation of legends! Give them a push!

  • Hart Dynasty need a push definately.

  • I love his FlagWear and his braids

  • RIP Davey Boy Smith. Its sad that how he died due to steroid and drug abuse.Luckily his cousin Tom Billington(Dynamite Kid)is still alive but he is disabled because of his drug and steroid abuse. Also RIP Owen Hart.10 Years had gone by since he fell to death.RIP Hart foundation(Owen and Davey Boy).

  • RIP Bulldog!

  • he's not in the HOF yet is he? he should be

  • Incredible wrestler! One of my faves back in the day. Definitely deserved to hold the WWF title.

  • Legend

  • gone but never for.gotten

  • y make a comment like that?

  • then y r u watching something thats a tribute 2 him u tw? at

  • grow up ya wanker better still go away and die horribly

  • R.I.P HOMIE

  • The British Bulldog Kicked ass. He was my Favorite wrestler.

  • I used to love watching the Held Vertical Suplex and the Running Powerslam! The match against Bret Hart at Wembley Stadium still remains one of the greatest matches of all time! Davey Boy was awesome and even better he was from England! RIP

  • British Bulldog is a true legend and he should RIP

  • watching this makes me want to cry. he was one of my favs..

  • same. he was such a man mountain, he military pressed some big guys. its strange because you see wrestlers like ston cold steve austin and he just punches, he never does any power moves despite been a big bloke.

just bought bret harts book, looking forward to reading it especially the part on davey boy smith, must be the 1st wrestler to talk about roids in his book as well. i think theres no secret this is prolly the reason the bulldog died, still he is a legend, him and bret are my favs

  • how did this dude die?

  • heart attack shame he left such a mark in America and my proud country of Britain RIP Davey boy Smith :(

  • he was let go cuz of steroids

  • steriods Mr McMahon and the WWF told the WWF athletes to take during the 90s ya mug

  • I remember in the Uk before he went to USA seeing him in a tag fight with Les Kellet , Mick McManus and Jim Breaks . It was great. He`d still be alive if he`d stayed in the UK

  • rip davey.

  • at 0:38 he looks like a more brolic bret hart

  • i met him once and he was really nice he done his country proud and we all miss him may you r.i.p

  • well if you dont like it dont watch the fucking video you wanker

  • wankers are gay homos

  • R.I.P Davey Boy Smith, you made your country proud

  • R.I.P Davey;

And of course, Owen and Stu Hart too.

  • you are soooooooo dumb! and a coward as you would never say that to someones face, you must be 12 years old with a very tiny penis LOL!

  • Its so sad watching this but i had to one last time. At least in the new wwe game Legends Of WrestleMania the British Bulldag is apart of the roster and and Im going to make sure he becomes WWE champion. I wish he would at least held it once before he left us all.

  • well said smegkiller couldnt have put it better..nice one bud

  • Thanks.

  • drunken fuck you show some respect you twat

  • RIP Davey boy

  • CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THIS PIECE OF MUSIC IS? R.I.P future hall of famer and fellow northerner.

  • There no other words to describe the British Bulldog but a legend he is and was the greatest British Wrestler ever in the hole of history of England even to this day he is still missed by all of us and the country we have lost one of the best Professional British Wrestler and I hope the WWE realize

that the British Bulldog belongs in the Hall Of Fame.

  • Hear here to those sentiments. For the talent he possessed, he should've been given the chance to do a whole lot more in the industry... it's a travesty he never became WWF/E champion.... and felt the WWE should've honoured him the 1995 royal rumble, then HBK's turn following year. He will be very difficult to replace... and just hope one day, Britain will unveil another star like him.... an idol, someone who can make us proud.

  • miss u britsh bulldog
