Oh jeez dudes.. you're both right, but in the context of the sentence makes the meaning of 'Quiero' to be WANT, not LOVE. 'Te Quiero' is not the only way it means love. You can say 'Te Quiero Besar' (I want to kiss you), etc. It is probably not the grammatically correct way to say it, but it is accepted as correct spanish in any country you go to - people will understand that you want to kiss them, and not that you love their kisses.
