You're right it's presonal offcourse.the firts album by soulfly didn't hook me the entire album sounded like roots only without tigt solos.roots is forgetable it's good and influential album and for it's time inovative (didn't like it tought) but soulfy is defnitly missing andreas but aside from that yes soulfy has some kick ass songs maybe max even did a better job then sepultura.both still good bands but sepultura is going downhill very fast.

@aryinc I agree their first one was really raw, but some of the songs on there are raw enough to really get inside you. loved all of Primitive.3 seemed really personal, but there are some great moments on it anyone can have. I adore Prophecy with even the rusty edges of my metal heart. Dark Ages gave me Babylon so I respect it enough and from there it does get to more of a song by song love.I agree anything that had a Cavalera and no longer has one struggles to be as passionate and brutal.
