I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (April 18), I filled in at a local Lutheran Church. We sang this as the opening hymn. It is #870 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. I did so because our responsive reading was Psalm 30. Verse 4 says, "Oh, sing to him you saints of his; give thanks to his holy name."
