@SamGD021 its very simple just make the particles stick to the the object in particleflow using positionObject node and check Lock to Object and Animated Object Parameters.
Hey i am lookin for a JOB right now does anyone know of any studio requiring FX artists.
simulation took around 24 hours, maybe more than that. Ok heres the settings maybe this should help you. Max file unit scale 1unit=10cm. Units display in meters. Fumefx width=80m height=80m length=80m. Spacing=0.2m. Quality=5 maximum iterations=300 simulation steps=2 advection stride=0.5 cubic interpolation=ON TimeScale=2 Gravity=1 Bouyancy=0.1 Vorticity=0.6 damping=0 Turbulence=0.035m Noise scale=5m Frames=5 Detail=5 Blockin sides=both Ingnitin=50 burn rate=20 variation=.1 expansion=1
that was awesome! I have a problem with fumefx's memory. everytime i try to simulate smoke it closes max down half way through saying unhandled exception. im not going to overboard with the particles or anything either. my specs are ati radeon hd2400xt graphics card, intel dual core processor, 2 gb's ram running windows 7 32 bit. thanks for your help
hi, no i did not set the animated object as the emitter. The smoke is actually emitting from particles. I used pflow to generate partciles over the animated surface, and those particles are emitting smoke. the reason for doin this was coz i think particle sources are much faster than object source.
excelent how can I do the dark smoke of lost with fume?

Wow this is amazing, how did u get the particles to form a person using fumefx? how do u make the particles interact with the object?

@vishy2511979 how did you achieve to make the model appear? did you animate the transperancy or it was just showed up because the smoke was stopping?
MortallicA91 11 months ago
@vishy2511979 Yes maybe. still looking?

@vishy2511979
Very nice. Yeah those sim times are a real !@#$%. How much memory was used in simulation?
gott1rott 1 year ago
insanely good, i have a question about the settings on the gravity? or how u got it to drag towards the floor and out so fast
obs301 1 year ago
@obs301 its not the gravity, its the inverted vortex, like an inverted twister, pushing fluid downwards and outward.
