@CosmicVillain I think it's just part of the intro. Otherwise, If I had to guess an episode, I would say it was "Methos"; after Methos fought Kalas and they both fell into the River Seine, Methos resurfaced, found Duncan and ostensibly was trying to get him to take his head. However, in that scene Duncan recognized Methos and approached him w/o sword in hand.

Either way, it does look like a pretty cool stalking approach. :)

haha i have no idea how to explain that episode :s maby the writers see explotions as just fire rather than actual BANGS! so immortals just get fried and are eventually ok. ha!

the series is definatly better than the movies, although i do like them (even 2 and 5 if im really bored) there all kinda fun in there own way.

limbs regenarating? mmm? i think if its lopped off and they lose it there sqrewed (like it shows in the TV series.) but if they grab it in time and re-attach it maby its heals back (like in highlander 3 when the bad guy gets cut in half.)....as to the whole blowing up thing...its only a PG rating anyway severed limbs are a no no and duncan would be a bit shit if he had one arm and no legs!

@punisherperrin explain season 5 though where they have an episode where a mad bomber keeps blowing up immortals and other people and after the immortals get blown up they are still in 1 piece? lol

If they can come back from the dead........and heal from stab wounds and gunshot wounds then the writers should have said that they can slowly regenerate limbs the way they slowly heal from serious wounds.

And dont get me started on the movies, lol....I'd like to forget the movies, haha

I think we can all agree that the series was far superior to ALL the movies, but here is where a true Highlander geek like me really gets into the thick of it. What the fuck is up with immortals not being able to regenerate severed limbs? I think that is COMPLETE CRAP!! I mean if they heal from all wounds, come back from the dead, defy the aging effects of gravity, and cannot die from sickness or poisoning then the writers should have also given them the ability to regenerate limbs. I mean WTF!!

well, not really, your bones stop growing after a certain age, but your skin always manages to heal cuts and the like. so it makes some sense that they can't grow back lost limbs, the bone simply won't grow again

They actual did an episode all about a bomber that kept blowing things up. I think it was either season 5 or season 6 and several immortals got blown up yet none lost limbs for some strange reason. Also, if you watch the entire series you will notice that Duncan Macleod fought in the civil war, revolutionary war, WW1, WW2, and the Vietnam War and still has all his limbs. That would be impossible to fight in all that shit and not lose a limb, lol. I think the writers changed there mind later on.

They wouldnt have to show the actual limbs regenerating though. It could happen slowly, like the way they heal from wounds. When they heal from stab wounds, gunshots, and cuts it happens slowly.

The same is true when they get killed. It takes them awhile to come back from the dead.

Also.....that episode in season 6 when a bomber kept blowing up people and several immortals got blown up, yet all still had their limbs would make more sense.

Regeneration would make more sense, then not.

I was just talking about their limbs (arms and legs) and not their head. Once their head is cut off they are dead and never coming back which makes sense.

But in season 2 Duncan cuts off a bad immortals hand (played by the lead singer of Fine Young Cannibals) and his hand never grows back, which I think is stupid. I think in the movies immortals are able to regenerate but in that one season of the tv series they said immortals couldnt regenerate, which seems dumb to me.
