I actually really loved the textures and the colors used. My daughter who is four absolutely loved it and wanted to watch it over and over again. Being that there are no words, it says a lot for your character's facial expressions and movements. I can't wait to see more of your work.

nice original idea!! Its unfortunate you didnt get to do this as a group project in one of the previous years, as it would have taken off the work load a bit for you.

Saying that, its still good, the renders of the goats came out really nicely!

Good anim. Problems:

-Your characters do not move smoothly

-You do not develop characters to any high level

-Goats a bit tall even for a surreal animation?

Eh, i wouldnt like to have to animate that! It would have been extremely difficult to get it to look right and as you can see, my animation and story telling skills are shit anyways ;)

yeah thats cool, timings out a bit here and there, and its a shame you didnt do proper walk cycles. It really shows when you see the side profile of the monster, the deformation of his middle body is badly done, but i think that may be a painting weight problem you had when setting up the skeleton. Other than that, its great! great wool texture!

Yup, its pretty terrible, isnt it? The Troll has an odd shapped body, so i didnt do myself any favours when designing him! Rigging and weight painting was a nightmare, my animation is terrible, but as long as the environment looks okay, then im fine with that.

nah i ouldnt say it is terrible, you got yourself a great idea, and really nice style. Im in the middle of choosing an idea for my major project next year! did you use maya? whenever im painting weights in maya, theres an option where you can colourize it, at the bottom of the attribute area for the paint weights tool, and i find that really helps distrubte the weights evenly, and it shows up the blemishes much more than the black and white view does. Take a look at my animations if ya want?
