Epic movie in a time when Epic meant Epic. Even though almost all the content is available for anyone to see in the game via flying mounts, and a ton of updated and new content overshadows some of this, there are things of legend in this movie that the average player will never get to see like GM/Designer island, The Emerald Dream, the original entrance to Outlands. Perhaps its a tribute to Dopefish's creative genius that music from this has popped up in mainstream Hollywood productions.

WoW pre-tbc was awesome, I agree. I actually think they tore away a large part of the game's soul by adding Flying Mounts, but that's the way it is. Instead of dreading on and on about how dumbed down, boring and easy the game is, we should cherish the good times we had. Remember WoW with the love and fun you once felt for it, and just ignore the current state if it doesn't appeal to you.
All possible on Live realms, even back then. All you did was download (or maybe in his case, create) files and once you added them into your WoW it made certain things possible. Flight paths/Boats/Zeps would go to places like GM Island, portals worked to new zones (emerald dream), etc. Every one of these places is in the game, they are just blocked off. All he did was make files allowing access. Obviously this was before Blizz knew about these kinds of things, and had prevention for them.
Not that I like being one of those who drools over good memories in a dark corner. But WoW vanilla was the best of the whole history time line. Back then it was almost constantly *ooh ...aah... pretty ...*. But at TBC and WotLK it was that same effect only for the first two weeks of it's release or so. Ahwell, hoping that Star Wars: The Old Republic can bring back epic times :p
After Cataclysm exploiting to explore "unseen" areas will no longer exist because they're revamping the old world, and as of right now, that's the only place that has inaccessible areas, which they will be removing in the revamp. "True" exploration, will be gone... : \
This game sucks, I miss prebc. Now it's just become a regular game, I dislike it very much. Good bye exploration. :(
Luckily I was able to experience exploration before it was ruined. I did every single thing Dopefish did but GM/Designer/Programmer Island as those were especially risky/required special files. =\
This game is horrid now. It's just Raiding and PvP. Raiding is mad easy and any 9 year old kid can down a boss, and PvP has gone to the dogs. Pre-BC WoW was amazing. =\

Watching these movies by dopefish brings me back to old times. WOW was hands down and probably is one of the best game ever. I just wish some how wow would still feel like the same old classic wow again.

Undoubtedly are the gltiches that Dopefish does are great, but unfortunately, it is true that he did do some with the help of some hacks. He was able to show everyone everything that there was, but now there's a new league of Explorers with a new purpose: to find all of that without the use of hacks at all. This is our goal at least. We've done many things they have without them. Our videos are proof.
model edits hacks etc some of it he actaully did exploit on his own and i wont doubt it hes a really good exploiter obviously but still its not 100% exploits theres hacks and model edits etc
The portal at the dwarf king shows this is NOT on a real server. ALso u dismount there. GG it was fun watching but dont say it's on live when it's not.

You need to make a private server.
It's called programmer island. It looks like westfall but with random huge buildings.
I haven't played wow in a while but it's either programmer island or designer island.
I'm pretty sure designer island is the even more random one i think.
