  • @jpgleiden The so-called occult is actually “a bag of worms.” If you don’t know what you are doing playing with abilities and thoughts you do not understand, you can get hurt. I say “so-called” because the word “occult” means secret. If you’ve looked around lately, you will notice that nothing is secret any more – thus the word is a misnomer. Occult morphed into the New Age in the sixties. Cont.

  • @jpgleiden Lots of people explored psychic and expansive worldviews because of that – Eastern Religions – other ways of looking at things spiritual. . Meditation became popular and so did “the inner journey.” Yes, there was a lot of false piety and bravado with “New Age,” and just plain nonsense. But, thanks to science and really serious and devoted people, the “New Age” is being replaced by “New Thought” – originally developed in the New England states in the 1800s. Cont.

  • @jpgleiden New Thought churches are places like Unity and Religious Science (now called United Centers of Spiritual Living). New Thought principles dovetail what near-death experiencers and those who have undergone a spiritual transformation (regardless of how) talk about afterward. New Thought actually takes us back to the Perennial Philosophy – the idea of One God, One Family. Many blessings, PMH

  • I had a NDE a little over 3 years ago. It only lasted seconds...maybe 4 or 5. But what is amazing is how I felt. I felt what I can only describe as "whole"..a sensation I hadn't felt before or since, and a joy like I was a little kid and it was my best day ever. I also saw what looked like to me was a revelation that we live more than one life.

I was agnostic/atheist at the time...but now I know we have a consciousness that goes on to something wonderful.

  • @tinkmarz1 What a beautiful sharing. Welcome to the world of near-death experiencers who have glimpsed the numinous and now know another reality besides this one is primary. You might consider joining the International Association for Near-Death Studies (iands). Their next conference is the first week in September in Denver, Colorado. Ill be there. Its like being with your family. Blessings, PMH

  • This was very interesting, and I love your vibrant personality!

  • Do your homework properly: Pim van Lommel is Dutch (from the Netherlands) and NOT German (from Germany).

And to all other Americans: Amsterdam is a city in the Netherlands and not the other way around...

  • I never said Pim was from Germany. He is Dutch. PMH

  • Thank you for sharing your research. You've given me comfort. I have a question. What is your view on the book of Revelation of the bible or Apocalypse? Where I am getting at is this: is it true that its Christ or damnation? I don't know how to explain what I mean. And what about the devil? I'd rather that good people go straight to Heaven or purgatory (for the Hitlers out there)& just experiences bliss after death, but some biblical texts would not agree. I know its all up to God in the end.

  • You are losing yourself in the mythology of Revelation, and the symbols therein. If you wish to be technical, the Book of Revelation is actually one of the best guidebooks ever written for the process of spiritual development, meditation, and the awakening of Kundalini forces within the human spine and endocrine centers. It is literally a "how-to" manual written in symbols. Remember, "Christ" is a state of consciousness we can all attain, or at least are challenged to attain. Cont.

  • Cont. Jesus became the Christ through his own guidance and choosing, and his final surrender to The Source Most High. He made quite clear that all the things he did, we can do, and more also. The Bible has many passages that affirm this in one way or another, such as saying, "We are all gods in the making." If you follow this line of thinking in the Bible and throughout the texts of the world's most sacred writings and literature, Cont.

  • ...you find a most incredible and wonderful truth that meshes exactly with what near-death experiencers come back to tell us: we are divine beings wearing a human body for the purpose of our advancement and learning on the earthplane. There is no way I can pursue this idea at length. There are many scholars and priests, learned thinkers and spiritual visionaries who have much to share in this vein. I try at the end of my various books to suggest references to explore such ideas. Blessings PMH

  • PMH, thanks for all of this. All these near death experiences and the connected videos give me a sense of peace and inspiration that I cannot describe! I have had a really rough few years, and was near suicide. But these stories are just too miraculous! I think God guided me to them. There is just something so serene about knowing that God exists and everything that happened to me and happens in life is part of His divine plan. That He is holding us... protecting us... loving us...

  • You are such a precious soul. Glad you are still with us. You might read my little book, We Live Forever. It is more personal than my others, and I think it would help you even more. Blessings, dear. PMH

  • Miss Atwater, you are simply radiant and beautiful.

  • You are so kind. Thank you. PMH

  • Actually your quite right. I studied religion at a four university and there are many ways to interpret texts, one being figuratively and the other literally, as well as taken it into context, taking it out of context (not good), etc...

  • Blessings, PMH

  • inanity interviewing insanity

  • Your opinions are your own and based on your own experience. Mine are different, both personal, and based on the comments of thousands of people, adults and children, who had just returned from either the brink of death or clinical death. Their comments come from what they actually saw and witnessed, not from religious text." Blessings, PMH

  • Precisely, their comments come from what they SAY and/or BELIEVE they saw.

And such being a NEW experience, it is based solely on whatever prior beliefs/mis-conceptions/delusions/knowledge particular to any given individual.

Something which is based solely on the word (obviously warped if touched by 'near death') of an individual in the total absence of ANY witness has ZERO validity.

Science provides a proper explanation... if you paid attention.

  • Apparently, you are not familiar with the latest in scientific findings on the near-death experience. If you were, you would have not made the comment you did. Blessings, PMH

  • Pray tell...

    WHAT, latest 'scientific' findings ??

  • Four to five percent of the world's population have near-death experiences, and that includes children, even infants. The vast majority of these people return from death energized, more generous and loving, ready to make a positive difference in the world -- and they come back enormously more spiritual, convinced of God and their place as Children of the Most High. Cont.

  • This is the blessing of God in action, irrespective of any individual's faith tradition or beliefs. No book ever written can explain this nor contain this. . . the power of love to change the world! Blessings, PMH

  • Man created god ..

...And America patented gullibility, refined moronity, relinquished trust to a delusion and thrives on ignorance.

  • tellnet: the 'lower' creates the 'higher'?? Hardly! That does not compute. America has no patent on those things you mentioned. They are human attributes, shared by all of God's children.

  • I apologize but I cannot comment on a partial quote that is out-of-text from the film. PMH

  • Tellnet, open your mind. Let God in! Peace be with you. I can understand your position, but you need to see with your heart and without such cynicism.

    Love, Young

  • Thank you for uploading this. It's the kind of research the world needs to know more about. Very uplifting!

  • I appreciate your comments very much. Many thanks, PMH

  • For 'NotAShill' Pt1- Dear One, you are absolutely right. Please read my books. Right from the start of my research in 1978, I have spoken with and had sessions with near-death experiencers of hellish episodes. Today it is estimated that about 17% of near-death cases are unpleasant and/or hellish -- but I honestly believe the figure is higher than that.

  • For 'NotAShill' Pt2- Most people who have this type of experience do not speak of it, either out of shame, fear, or confusion. In most of my books, including the one on children's near-death experiences, I have a separate chapter on such episodes. Do visit my website for a complete listing of my books and papers about the research I do -- pmhatwater dot com -- and also on my blog.

  • For 'NotAShill' Pt3- You might circle your calendar for October 19. That's when my next book on the subject is due out: The Big Book of Near-Death Experiences: The Ultimate Guide to What Happens When We Die. I delve much deeper into the various types of near-death experiences in this book, including hellish. I notice that amazon is already running a pre-publication sale on the book should you want to order it now. Blessings, PMH

  • I doubt bad people live forever.

  • 'bad' is relative. Who's to determine what bad is? In America, eating a person is bad. In a cannibalistic society, eating a person is normal. Who's right? Neither, and both.

  • ya but nobody is talkin about eating people.

  • Thank you, PDRESEARCHER, We'll share your praise with Mel Van Dusen! -PMH

  • Thank you for putting some REALLY interesting people on your show. As a Post-Death researcher and Ghostpsychologist of some thirty years I am well acquainted with PMH Atwater, Nadia McCaffrey and Natalie Blakeslee, all of whom I hold in high regard for their veracity, true knowledge and willingness to explore the far reaches of the Unknown. PMH Atwatwer, in particular, who is the foremost authority today on the NDE, the new children and the new 5th root race. ou are to be commended!

  • This is great. Thanks for uploading this video.
