  • sick!

  • Amazing.

  • Someone asked how I did this and I removed the comment by mistake!

This WAS done with 'ordinary electric guitar'. All you need is a volume swell pedal (you can use your volume knob on your guitar if you don't have a pedal) and a long, wet reverb effect. The technique is straight forward; play the chord without the volume and raise the volume as the chord rings. The reverb makes it deep, harmonic and gives it more transience. The chords are Am, Bm, C.

    Have fun!

  • @ORlENTATlON thank you very much! I will try this. :)

  • Wow, that's awesome!

The original sound wasn't made from guitar, is it?

  • @daggerls

    I'm pretty sure it was!

  • @ORlENTATlON

    really?

Don't mind me then, I don't know much.

    I thought it is synth

  • not bad! it never occurred to me that someone would cover a song like this, but you've captured the vibe.

  • that was awesome.thats the guitar of my dreams you are holding there.thanks.

  • Very nice.

How did you recreate that? What programs are you using?

  • @DwarfArtillery Hi, just a basic recording program called WavePad (freeware) with no additional editing done. Had one track recorded for the chords and one track for the lead which is what the video is of. Other than that, I used a BOSS GT-3 with a DI box going into the computer. Thanks.

  • very creative...i like

  • That was really good, I liked that!
