From the views I've seen, this does not look like a pyramid made by man. It is a GEOFACT...in other words, natural processes like erosion, water, uplifting have created a hill which looks to us humans like a pyramid. There are many remarkable structures in nature. Look at the terrain...this "hill" fits in quite well with its surroundings. Sorry to disappoint everyone, but this is not the big find of the century.

@GHOSTTOYS A tunnel on the floor? A tile sidewalk? Well...there are train tunnels through mountains too...but thta doesn't mean we built the mountain...does it? If I were going to build a pyramid, I wouldn't build it in an area of similarly sized hills which all have the same shape and size as my pyramid. Again, the Bosnian pyramid is an optical illusion (or) a case of people seeing what they wish to see. Let's face it...hills are boring, but a pyramid is exciting and boosts national pride.

It's very strange, the hills have a distinctive shape, but it was seeing the massive stone blocks that sold me, that is man made, and sans anti-gravity or giants, I don't see how they moved that many 40 ton blocks.

To me the land feature looks like a naturally formed hill throuugh glaciation (what we call a Pyramidal Peak). Admittedly, it is a very even-sided peak ! Perhaps the locals built stuff on top of it, or around the base of it ?

I am from Bosnia and I have been to the dig site. I must admit that some of the things excavated there do look quite out of the ordinary. Weird stone plates and formations as well as tunnels that cross one another. However, there still remains a lot to be excavated and at this time I think it is a little too premature to conclude that these are actual pyramids. I think archeologists should visit this area and run a full excavation. Who knows, this might be a great find. It's worth the research.

Actually pyramids don't act as energy storage. the reason so many cultures have pyramids is that it is the shape which mounds of dirt naturally want to form. Look at sand dunes, the really tall ones called "Draa" naturally form pyramidal shapes due to the natural forces at work. Without a deep knowledge of physics, a pyramid is the highest and most stable structure humans can build.

The Egyptians didn't build on sand. The removed the sand and build on specially prepared bedrock foundations. As to the stellar orientation of the Pyramids, the belt of Orion was originally the belt of Osiris and the stars line up on chambers inside allegedly, as well as the pyramids themselves mimicking the belt formation itself. Pyramids as I have said earlier are a naturally stable tall formation, triangles aside.

It involved a process of excavation, lots of sand needed to be moved. Your question regarding the tools is a fair one, I don't know all the details, but bronze tools are much stronger than most people suspect if they incorporate phosphorus, a technique know to the ancients. It is actually stronger than early medieval steels.

As it would seem an idea to have the town working on the project, not everybody can work on such a site as not everyone is an archaeologist.
