what if the shill bidder bids on random items from other sellers so that his/her account activity with that seller isnt 100%?

I've seen a shill bidder with 1% on the same person. The bidder has over 1000 bids and when I looked there are groups of bids on different bidders. Quite an active person.

Just found a shill bidder this weekend. Bidder has 97% of bids with one seller, a rating of 0.... the seller does auctions with a reserve amount and this bidder ALWAYS bids constantly to drive the price up to, but not OVER, the reserve amount. I reported it to eBay, now let's see what happens.

oh and I bid on an item for 100 max bid and I was about to win in the last 15 min wiht 30 dollars and then all of a sudden it jumped to 86...

I aked 2 sellers selling the same type of car a couple of days ago is they would change their auctions to a buy it now of £4500, neither car had bids, both said they want to let the auction run, fine, funny both cars have £4500 and £4300 bids today.

thanks for the info. should i be weary of someone who has won my auction and has 0 feedback. yet he joined almost a year ago. i found another name exactly like his but a small part was abbreviated that has feedback. i guess ill have to wait until he either pays or doesn't. it only through up a red flag because he was bidding on it yet hasn't payed cause i only accept paypal and require a prompt payment after the auction ends.

@Keith1212ofxbox360 That is not shill bidding and you can't force someone to make prompt payment after your auction ends. Everyone is allowed a reasonable amount of time within which to pay.

I had 56 feedback 100% positive. Now up until a week ago, some fag decided he didn't want the knife that he bid on because it wasn't pretty enough, even though it was exactly as described. So he wants a refund AND to keep the knife. I said "fuck no". So he gave me feedback. And that 1 out of 56 brought me down to 98.1, which is total fucking bullshit. You can't really judge someone with a 98.6 my friend... Ebay is just a bitch.

great vid..if you wanna see some shill bidding from one of the so called " community " members go look up rawisjericho on the bay..i always look at the buyers info that is bidding on a card i'm looking to buy..i have had to let alot of nice cards pass me by,just bc i know the seller is shill bidding..which most ppl dont know is a FELONY..but again..go look up rawisjericho and see what you think about his auctions..if you could though pm me and tell me how to report ppl that do shill bid..thanks
