@MoshtHrasta I really like this song for the tune and it is true I haven't seen a real gypsy and to be honest I don't know what gypsy really do. Care to enlighten me?
@MoshtHrasta Hi there, i am from Bulgaria and i know exactly for what you are talking about -.- but i think that this song has deeper meaning which is by no means connected with their deeds. I think gypsy here means one who wanders, who is on a pilgrimage.
Yea this was one random vid i clicked and wow they are awesome and i cant believe i never herd of them. I thought i would only like this song, but turns out i love all their music just hits the comfort spot.
This was one of my favourite songs from the band 'Renaissance' who I saw live while in college in the late '70's. Blackmore's Night does the song very well!
Looking forward to listening to more of 'Blackmore's Night'.

Just heard this for the first time, immediately after listening to the Carnegie Hall version of Ocean Gypsy by Renaissance. Why the fuck do I have negative five? I was expressing my appreciation for this version, you morons.
And Universe593, of course it's subjective as to who prefers what, but there's nothing subjective about Annie Haslam having the better voice when you consider that she is an Opera-trained vocalist with a five-octave vocal range, so in that aspect she is FACTUALLY better than Night.
But once again, the original version is in an entirely different league than the original, but what's good...
